My husband and I stayed at this hotel for the second time. I truly love this place, the nature around it, and the chance to relax in the jacuzzi. However, I would kindly ask that you pay more attention to its cleanliness and proper sanitation. During our previous stay, we were offered meal options and could choose what we preferred. This time there was a buffet, but the same food was served two days in a row, which we didn’t enjoy very much.

First of all, and shame on me, I didn't realize that there are two resorts... Paradise Stream and Cove Haven. We've stayed at Cove Haven every time and when I booked this, I thought it was the same. Cove Haven is awesome! Even in the winter. Paradise Stream is just lame. The dining staff are amazing and the food was good. But the hotel/resort staff are extremely rude! One person at the front desk actually made fun of our last name. Now, granted, it's Butts, but have some freaking professionalism! I was extremely offended at the guy laughing and making fun of it. The CXO (the person who runs the events) didn't show up to the events. They were in a totally different building waiting to be called by the bar staff. And if it was just us (one couple), they wouldn't do the event. It was so disappointing. The game room could have been cool, but games were missing pieces, the little bowling thing they had was broken, the Photo Booth was broken. The mini golf they had indoors wasn't bad. Cove Haven has pretty tame deer that are everywhere on the compound. When I asked the Gift Shop lady if the deer came around Paradise Stream, she gave me an incredibly disgusted look and said no. We were shocked at her response. We did not feel welcome and they did not have the traditional service you'd expect at a resort. We actually drove over to Cove Haven (about 50 min away) to hang out for a couple of hours and see the deer.

The room was horrible. The property was not up kept. I became so depressed when I was driving on the property. I couldn’t stay another day so I was transferred to cove Haven. I can’t believe you are charging people so much money. The room was horrible, the amenities was horrible but the staff was excellent.

I was in awe of the room set up. Found it to be such a private and quiet place for intimacy. Everything there is everything a couple would or should want. TVs were outdated but that was okay since the warm tub and the hot sauna and massage table can really keep you occupied. Phenomenal restaurants near by and professional staff.

We had a nice time due yo nostalgia of being there 20 years ago. However there are things that really need updating. The vent in the pool room was loaded with mold, tiles were falling off around the edge. The bed was on casters so anytime you tried to climb in or out it would roll across the floor, some of the casters were also broken (fixed with tape) or totally missing. I understand it probably makes it easier for the cleaning staff, but maybe fix them and then put some brakes on there.
