Not the optimal location, but the price can't be beaten. We had to share a bath but never saw another guest during our four-night stay.

.The staff at this hotel are the most unpleasant and unhelpful...They do not like you to complain, they will not deal with your complaint... IF I was you .... Stay somewhere else...

Budget hotel for not a real budget price. No A/C which means windows need to be open, and Taylor Street is loud with lots of homeless people yelling all night. Your morning rooster doesn't sound like a cock-a-doodle-do, but homeless people yelling obcenities. So be prepared for SF finest in the Tenderloin.

Very dangerous area. Shared bathroom with no Tp. Did not stay.

Classic San Francisco old building. Worn out bed clothing and towels. More of 2 star hotel.

Very bad part of town. Homeless drug users everywhere. Cockroaches in the bathroom on second night.

This place is a short walk from Powell BART station. However, the streets are very dirty/smelly and the presence of homeless in this area is inevitable. Make sure you check whether the room you book has shared or individual bathroom. I paid $35 to switch to a room with its own bathroom (which was tiny and has mold stain in the shower). However, the room appears renovated and has a good bed and TV on the wall. Try to keep your expectations low when staying in economical hotels in Union Square/Civic Center. They are almost always small and old, and be cautious when you are out at night.

Cleanliness and affordable the staffs are friendly

Then only thing i didnt like was the fact that the bathroom was outise. That was not very clear to me when i booked.

This property shouldn’t even be offered on the orbitz website, it’s terrible! The location isn’t bad other than homeless on the street but the cleaners is horrifying! I found a dead tick on my towel, there was a Mouse in my room and the room was dirty . The floor hasn’t been properly clean . The window are not sound proof so trying to sleep is difficult. This in way is a hotel it should be a motel ! I’m extremely disappointed with orbitz , i will no longer be booking through their website!

I boooed another hotel to avoid this unsafe property that orbotz adverted

It was a pretty okay place to stay for a quick booking

Much cleaner than expected. Great room for the price.

Room and bathroom were really drafty. No plug available to actually use the bath tub. Bed was uncomfortable and it was very loud outside making it difficult to sleep. Also, doors and hallways were narrow making wheelchair uss more challenging and if are a large person it would be difficult to maneuver in some doors.

This hotel was dirty, bad service, the bed was dirty we couldn’t sleep there, the floor was sticky , we found insects on the room, no tv, plus dangerous neighborhood, share bathroom and the bathroom was dirty poop around, and small shower with cold water. That’s my experience with this hotel. Horrible

Very disappointed of the understanding to work and honored the trip protection, as i was not comfortable there.

Shower didnt work and public shower only released burning water. Room so small couldnt even open drawers.
