I've never had a property place itself so exactly in between good and bad before. I can't say anything bad about it, because I didn't see anything bad. At the same time, if you were to ask me what was good about the property, I'm sure I couldn't tell you, because nothing stood out as being especially good. It was just there.

The front desk agent in the afternoon shift was very unwelcoming and had a lot of perjudice. There was no housekeeper during the coronavirus crises. Despite the fact the facility was not in a good condition and my daily paying them the rent; they kicked me put, regardless of what the Mayor of CA ordinance regarding sayibg sheltered.
Not the optimal location, but the price can't be beaten. We had to share a bath but never saw another guest during our four-night stay.
.The staff at this hotel are the most unpleasant and unhelpful...They do not like you to complain, they will not deal with your complaint... IF I was you .... Stay somewhere else...

This place is a short walk from Powell BART station. However, the streets are very dirty/smelly and the presence of homeless in this area is inevitable. Make sure you check whether the room you book has shared or individual bathroom. I paid $35 to switch to a room with its own bathroom (which was tiny and has mold stain in the shower). However, the room appears renovated and has a good bed and TV on the wall. Try to keep your expectations low when staying in economical hotels in Union Square/Civic Center. They are almost always small and old, and be cautious when you are out at night.

Then only thing i didnt like was the fact that the bathroom was outise. That was not very clear to me when i booked.
