The hotel/room was nice and clean. The staff was attententive and friendly.

I stayed one night at Marriott Union Square. I arrived early, but no problem. Front desk checked me in and gave me a room I liked. He was friendly and efficient! Room was spacious and very clean. Looked like it was newly renovated. Bed was very comfortable. The hotel is one block away from Union Square, lots of shopping and dining choices, very close to China Town, walking distance to BART station. Will stay there again next time.

The staff is friendly and accommodating from check in, to room service, to storing luggage. The hotel is an easy walk to downtown shopping and restaurants. The rooms are clean and comfortable with easy access to Wifi. Overall a good experience.

This hotel is right off of Union square and therefore close to all things downtown. We added a couple of days here after an earlier business meeting. Our only glitch was at checkin when they seemed not to have our specific room request. The staff seemed to look down on third party bookings and said the communication wasn’t always clear. Happily, they fixed the problem, but an issue for Orbitz to address!

Good, overall experience . Excellent location. Could use an in-house coffee shop.

Susan made everything better than expected. Thank you!

Orbitz charges for upgrades that the hotel is not obligated to honor. We paid for an upgrade for a bay view with 2 double beds; however the hotel was sold out of that type of room so we did not receive that type of room.

Room service knock the at 9:00 AM, I put a note for more tea bags on the TV screen, I got nothing but the note was still there.

Great location. Can never go wrong with Marriott!

great location, very clean and staff very friendly and helpful

I arrived at my hotel Saturday 06/18 and check-in was quick and easy. My room was clean but smaller than expected. I was close to everything(China Town, mall, Fishermans Warf, etc...). DO NOT RENT A CAR, UBER IS THE BEST OPTION. Probably was the nicest hotel in Union Square overall. 4.5/5. I will stay here again.

I've booked a "deluxe" view room but the room assigned has no view. Front desk staff (i think her name is Kelley) was very helpful when I asked to change room. Everything else is all good.

did not have the usual perks of a 4 star hotel: bathrobes, magnifying mirror in the bathroom, kleenex in the bathroom, but otherwise fine

This is the 3rd time we have stayed in this hotel. It's got a great location and the staff is absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a great centrally located hotel in San Francisco.

My bad and I stayed in this location for about 3 nights and we loved it. The size of the room was a lot bigger than we had anticipated. The view was great and the staff was very friendly. I loved everything about it. My only negative was that there was no fridge in our room but we managed.

The pillows were really uncomfortable so did not get a single good night sleep. The towels were not changed daily.

Very upset. There are bugs on bed an no one did anything

This place was in the ideal location. If we return to San Francisco we will definitely stay here again. Breakfast was pricey, but very good! Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

Hotel staff went above and beyond to help make the stay great, from the doorman to the front desk and the entire staff were very helpful.

Great location and close to union square. Friendly staff. Parking is not easy and valet parking with tips can add up.

Dear camille, Thank you for your feedback. We are terribly sorry you experienced issues with your reservation. Although we do our best to honor our guests' requests for a specific room, at times, certain room types are occupied and unavailable due to current guests unexpectedly extending their stay. We cannot apologize enough for the inconvenience incurred and we hope you will give us another opportunity to provide you with a superior visit. Thanks for allowing us to be of service.
