This was a basic, old school hotel with no frills.

Good rate for what you got. Best part was great location with free parking

Although an older motel, it was clean, really good location, and the rooms were spacious. Staff was excellent.

I was surprised by the spacious room, cleanliness, and comfort considering the price and location. I would definitely stay again.

You know what to expect with an aging motor lodge in SF: no frills. Pacific Heights Inn gets the job done and surprised me with a separate kitchen & small dining area in the room. The staff are attentive and polite, but facilities are getting worn, especially the shower plumbing. If you are a light sleeper, angle for a room upstairs to avoid heavy footfalls.

Free Parking in San Fran - need I say more? Room is what you expect for the price in comparison to other lodging options. Was only in the room to sleep so wasn’t looking for anything fancy. Continental breakfast was a perk-only a couple options, but again, free/included with an already reasonably priced stay. I was actually surprised for the value I received-thanks again!

The heat, AC and fan in the room did not work at all. Nor did the in-room telephone work. This was reported to the hotel desk clerk but nothing was done. The beverage machine for the property was also "out of order". Refrigerator leaked water on to the floor. Continental breakfast was good quality. Hotel staff was friendly. Having small kitchen area as part of the room was nice to have to eat our breakfast food.

Need coffee makers in the room older hotel but have stayed here for years as on Union St a great place to shop and eat close to the wharf by bus as well as The International Settlement and China Town

Yes it needs updating but it's clean, good location, great value.

we drove to fisherman wharf, parking wasnt that bad. then went on to golden gate and up to napa valley, easy driving from motels location.

I chose this motel due to its closeness to the waterfront piers. It appeared to be a medium walk, but due to foot surgery right before I came, it was UBER to the rescue. The owners were very nice Chinese people. My wife being Chinese made this a great choice. We were a little early for check-in from our flight from NY, but they cheerfully stored our luggage until the room was ready.

I really like places like this - it was like a little apartment - we had 2 double beds, which worked great because this was at the end of our vacation and we needed more space since we are used to a king bed at home and had mostly queens on our trip. There was a simple kitchen, comfy chair, table and chairs in the kitchen and also a little desk. I wish we could've stayed longer! San Francisco has so much to offer! This was about a 20 minute very doable walk from Fisherman's Wharf. The guy at the desk was super friendly.

Very good price for the location. Breakfast ended too soon so you can say how it was. Overall nice place indeed to put the head in.
