Staff was very accommodating, room clean. I was disappointed that I did not get breakfast as it is not served until 7am on Saturday and I had to leave prior to that. I was able to get coffee but there were no cups (I had to use my own mug). Also, you have to pay extra for parking, even in the self-park areas. These items were stated in the agreement, if I had taken the time to read it. I wanted some ice for my soft drink, but no ice bucket or plastic bag in the room, when I asked at desk, she said they didn’t provide that but she did find me a plastic bag.

Chipped walls, patchy paint. Pungent deodorizer smell. TV didn’t work throughout entire stay, even after maintenance came by. Just overall kind of a grimy hotel that I would not recommend.

The employees are very kind and the breakfast options are some of the best I've seen offered in a continental setting. Our only negatives were the fact the refrigerator in our suite kept turning off so our food spoiled and the pull out sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable.

This hotel had a nice downtown location. It had ample space for our party of five, which was great! The breakfast was your typical food service breakfast, but what do you expect included in the price of the room? Parking worked for us, but it is an additional cost per vehicle per night. I would stay at this location again.

I had a one bedroom suite, and I felt right at home! The staff was great, especially in the kitchen staff over the weekend. Very friendly, very helpful and they were more than happy to take over my itinerary planning! The hotel is very accessible and within a 10 minute walk of some really great restaurants/live music. But Salt Lake City itself was a little bit of a ghost town and there were a number of homeless people and drug addicts throughout the streets, which made walking alone a little bit worrisomesome. My one complaint regarding this is that the pool for the hotel is on street level and openly visible to anyone who may be on the street or parking lot nearby. Otherwise, I had a great time staying here and definitely recommend it.

It needs renovation. Comparing to the price and my experience with other Residence Inn by Marriott hotels it had much smaller space. The first floor was too noisy.

My room was clean and spacious, my bathroom fan never turned off which was a bit annoying but manageable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast every morning was always hot and delicious.The only real complaint I have is that the parking situation can be a bit tricky. My vehicle was too tall for the parking garage and there were a lot of smaller vehicles in parking spots outside that should have been put in the garage for those that wouldn't fit. One night I was even told to park off site at the nearby church but that parking lot was roped off. It was frustrating but eventually I was able to find a spot nearby.

I’ve stayed at several Residence Inn properties, but this one stood out in a big way. The staff were very courteous. One of the staff even offered us his personal fan so we could have some white noise when sleeping. Top notch.
