The staff was top notch, very kind and professional. Excellent part of town, and parking is straightforward, no valet needed. Right in the heart of downtown with great places to eat everywhere.
Great valet parking and frond desk
I’ll avoid this hotel at all costs. We were given a hotel room that was literally part of the elevator structure. We could not sleep all night because the walls were shaking each time the elevator went up or down. The room was also sandwiched between the elevator and the ice machine to add more noise to injury. When we complained, we were told that the hotel is completely booked which is not correct since the hotel parking lot was almost empty and we did not see a single person at our floor in 24 hours. Our room included an American buffet breakfast. When we showed up on the morning, we were told that there was no breakfast buffet. Instead they handed us a la carte menu with about 5 items to choose from. The bagel I ordered came with human hair on it. The other items tasted like they were made for cattle. And the bouquet final was when they asked us to pay for a breakfast buffet that we already paid for and that they did not have!!! Having good previous experiences with Marriott, I think this particular hotel is badly managed and as such is a waste of time and money to set a foot there.
Nice, convenient, the pool area looked very nice but we didn't use.
They brought me a champagne amenity, I put a DND on my door and went out, then I came back and it was gone. I called and they'd given it to me by mistake. Fine, but entering my room that had a DND to take back a cheap bottle of wine is a violation of my space, and tacky. I was planning to stay there weekly while I house hunt in SLC, but I don't feel like my space is respected. Yes, they gave me a breakfast voucher apology that I couldn't use, but that doesn't make up for the violation of space.
I will stay there again. It was clean and comfortable. It was also close to Convention Center
Staff amazing. Friendly. Beyond helpfull. Perfect location. Food delicious. Room was great. Would stay here again
Only needed two rooms for a few hours before a return flight to Los Angeles. The late night flight was prompt, professional and helpful.
The Hotel was very nice, we had a lovely stay. The People were all so nice and helpful. Had a Great time !
When we travel to SLC, we always stay at the Marriott City Center. We have always had a very positive experience - very clean, classy, comfortable, quiet modern room - my favorite being a "corner" room. This time we were offered a "recently" renovated" room. Great! I thought. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED! Marriott has really missed the mark here with their renovations! Everyone (hotels, restaurants etc.) is going to this CHEAP, minimalist, cold colors style of decorating - this would be great for Motel 6, but it is SO NOT Marriott style. I really missed the warm, rich colors and the upscale comfortable rich and classy design including the "Marriott bed"! Not to mention they removed ALL carpet! - and replaced it with a vinyl floor covering that not only looks cheap, but is cold and hard to walk on! Yuck! I will still stay at Marriott, but I am So dissappointed.
I enjoyed my 8day stay, hotel was overall clean and inviting. A++ restaurant on site, with a variety of tasty foods. Room/bathroom was spacious with the necessary amenities. The parking is at the very bottom and the exit signs needs to be installed with lights. I circle around several times before I realized how to get out. Housekeeping skipped cleaning once, but after a call that never happened again. Overall stay was pleasantly enjoyable. If you're looking for a nice quiet hotel with a friendly and helpful staff, this is a great choice.
The rooms were a bit outdated, the beds were hard, the pillows were fluffy but when you laid on them they went flat. The indoor pool was nice, but the bed was a hard spring mattress and it was tough getting a good nights rest. Breakfast was not included, parking was expensive, and overall would not pay what we paid to stay at a place that was not comfortable. Sorry Marriott this hotel of yours was not a 4 Star hotel as it claims to be. P.S. Housekeeping came knocking on the door at around 8am in the morning then came back at 9am. We did not have have a privacy door hanger.
This hotel is nice and comfy. Located a couple of blocks from the Mormon Cathedral. Good restaurants and coffee shops are nearby. My favorite was Beans and Brews. Great coffee and sandwiches.
Great hotel with easy parking access. Close to downtown and temple square. Friendly staff, clean rooms, only complaint is pillows.
Nice hotel. Great staff - especially the valet guys.
Great stay in the city. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Will stay there again!
