I enjoyed my 8day stay, hotel was overall clean and inviting. A++ restaurant on site, with a variety of tasty foods. Room/bathroom was spacious with the necessary amenities. The parking is at the very bottom and the exit signs needs to be installed with lights. I circle around several times before I realized how to get out. Housekeeping skipped cleaning once, but after a call that never happened again. Overall stay was pleasantly enjoyable. If you're looking for a nice quiet hotel with a friendly and helpful staff, this is a great choice.

The rooms were a bit outdated, the beds were hard, the pillows were fluffy but when you laid on them they went flat. The indoor pool was nice, but the bed was a hard spring mattress and it was tough getting a good nights rest. Breakfast was not included, parking was expensive, and overall would not pay what we paid to stay at a place that was not comfortable. Sorry Marriott this hotel of yours was not a 4 Star hotel as it claims to be. P.S. Housekeeping came knocking on the door at around 8am in the morning then came back at 9am. We did not have have a privacy door hanger.

This hotel is nice and comfy. Located a couple of blocks from the Mormon Cathedral. Good restaurants and coffee shops are nearby. My favorite was Beans and Brews. Great coffee and sandwiches.

Great hotel with easy parking access. Close to downtown and temple square. Friendly staff, clean rooms, only complaint is pillows.

Nice hotel. Great staff - especially the valet guys.

Great stay in the city. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Will stay there again!

I am attending a conference in the Salt Lake Convention Center, and I booked this hotel. It is about 10 minutes walk to the center. Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable. However, my room is separated with the other room by a door -- so I can hear the sound clearly. The guys in the other room is very loud -- in those days I stayed there, my neighbors usually come back about 12:00am and the room would not calm down until 2:00am. So my experience is terrible.

perfect for a couple's weekend, clean beautiful room for a great price. Fantastic local restaurants nearby.

Wonderful service at breakfast buffet. Super friendly and helpful staff. Comfy room in the heart of Salt lake.

Perfect venue to stage bar hopping and nightlife fun.

With it being near to the salt palace, comic con was a breeze to get to and from. Also it's very close to blue iguana and J Wong's bistro which is also very good. The room was cleanly and roomy. Wifi worked great with no issues running a server of mine craft with 2 people in the room and 2 at my house down in provo

Great location, good staff , rooms were super clean.

Marriott Hotels have always treated us very well. This stay was the same. We had a great overnight stay and at great value.

We loved our stay at this Marriott. It was prime location to all downtown has to offer. We were able to walk to restaurants, shopping, and nearby attractions all within 5 to 10 minutes. The room was probably the cleanest we stayed in on our 18 day trip. The staff was wonderful and so kind. Only thing I could critique is that there is no microwave or minifridge.

good hotel but if you like room service food needs to get better...salsa tasted like it was right from a jar...scrambled eggs were horrible...sausage was great...i would inquire about the room service food first...other than that a really good hotel...other food at seminar was great....

Worked well for a one night stay. Great location. Close to the airport.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past, and it is always a great experience. The rooms are nice and modern, and we always get a great view of downtown SLC. The restaurant downstairs; however, needs some improvement. It took a very long time to get service, and the food was cold. Overall, this is a great place to stay in the heart of the city, as it is close to all kinds of venues.

the mattress was ideal, pillows too. Staff lovely. Room smelled like chlorine, pool did too, gym very useful and clean. Restaurants within walking distance. Car park staff lovely too.

The Marriott hotel is always a good bet for above average travel comfort. I've never had a bad experience in a Marriott facility. Here are a few things about this place that I think you should know. *The beds are comfortable with medium soft mattresses covered with a thick mattress cover. *This motel is central to many downtown destinations in Salt Lake City including within walking distance to the new City Creek Mall. *You have the option of self-parking or using a valet. Plan on paying $14 extra for self parking or $18 for your valet. This is not a bad deal if you are from a larger city where parking costs much more. In Salt Lake City, however, pay for parking in your hotel is lame. *The service staff is professional and the room service is great. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a good, centrally located hotel in Salt Lake City for a reasonable cost.

I had a reservation for 5 and was given a room for two. They did change it, but only for four so we had to request a roll away bed. When I called a day before to make sure they had the room they said they didn't have my reservation so I had to call to resend the reservation. Parking was expensive and no Continental breakfast. .
