Good hotel lacking in service several places

When we arrived, the hotel told us we could not have the room we booked. They said because we booked through a third-party they were allowed to give us any room they wanted. When we got to our room, it had an adjoining door that went to another room and you could hear the people in that room talking. They were not being loud, but you could hear everything they said. Breakfast was good, but we waited 20 minutes for a table, even though there were open tables available. When we went to check out, the valet retrieved our car. He waited by the driver door while I opened the door for my wife and then loaded our four bags. While I was loading the final bag, he walked away sarcastically saying thanks for the tip. It’s harder to tip when your bags are in your hands and they walk away before you even get them all loaded. The hotel was good except for the noise in our room. The service was just lacking on several fronts.

Love that the hotel is nice and in the heart of downtown, Easy walking distance to lots of shops and dining. The hotel was clean and very well maintained. Staff was very friendly. The bed was comfortable and nice sized bathroom. Only thing to complain about was no constent fan option on the a/c. I like fan running to help reduce the city traffic noise.
