Room confortable and clean and location near attractions

Our stay was delightful. The staff was delightfully helpful. Our room was clean and well adorned. The cookies and milk was a nice evening touch. The parking was adequate. The breakfast was typical but nicely presented.

Happy w overall hotel and friendly staff , . Great breakfast...

Clean rooms, close to the U of U, very hearty breakfast

It's nice clean & friendly staff. We enjoy our three night to stay with Hampton inn Salt Lake City

Clean and friendly staff but new barn style bathroom door didn't allow for any privacy. Barn style bathroom door had gaps on top, bottom, and sides without the capability of being locked. Breakfast was awful and bland.

Clean, comfortable hotel. Friendly and helpful staff.

for one night stay, it met all our expectations! it's very clean, quiet and at a good location. The free breakfast had different choices. We enjoyed our stay. thanks

The hotel was fine. The hotel was undergoing an exterior renovation but since I was staying on a Sunday and getting up early Monday. It didn't affect me. Lots of homeless in downtown Salt Lake.

Stayed one night, room was clean. Bathroom shower tub drain very slowly. Drain plug lever in the wash basin does not work and the plug always stay close, folded a piece from soap cover and inserted to leave the plug open. Breakfast was okay. Nightly rate for the hotel is very high and for the price, the service needs improvement. Location is good, very close to Temple square.

Staff was amazingly nice and catered to my every need

Never get disappointed staying at a Hampton. Staff very friendly, breakfast was really good. The room clean and comfortable. Thank you, Karla

We stayed at this hotel for one night over President's Day weekend so that our family could do some fun things in the Salt Lake area. The hotel was in a good location and we were able to walk to the Clark Planetarium where we had plans to see a movie. The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub which is our children enjoyed and they have complimentary coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby. They put out chocolate chip cookies at 5pm supposedly, but they were gone by the time we returned from our movie. They had a nice hot breakfast in the morning that consisted of omelettes, waffles, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, and an assortment of bread and pastry items. While I felt the hotel was a bit pricey, it was in line with other hotels in the area and the fact that we didn't have to buy breakfast in the morning was a plus. I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for a place to stay in the downtown area.

We loved staying here for our romantic New Years time getaway. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed free cookies & milk, coffee, newspaper. The breakfast was amazing (eggs, bacon, make your own waffles with all the fixin's) and they even served it until 11 am on New Year's Day. We appreciated that the pool/ hot tub was open 24 hours and utilized it. My only complaints could be the hot tub could have been a couple degrees hotter and the elevators were slow.

The staff were pleasant, breakfast was free and had a varied offering, and tea and coffee were available in the afternoon/evening. Room was clean and quiet. It is close to downtown and good places to eat, and on the route back to the airport. The only disadvantage is that it is next to Pioneer Park, which is not somewhere I'd want to take my kids or walk my dog. We had several interactions with panhandlers in the hotel parking lot and roads nearby, and were worried about the rental car being broken into. It's not a good neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hampton Inn. The room was great. Though it didn't have a fridge, when we found out about this we asked and immediately got one brought in. The staff was very responsive. The breakfast was good. The lobby always had some fruit and tea/coffee available. Overall it was one of the more pleasant hotel experiences we've had.

Great value. We were looking for one night stay while traveling through Utah. Easy to find. Very friendly staff. Clean, comfortable quiet room. Free hot breakfast with good chices for all.

Me and my girlfriend enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was nice to have the pool and hot tub open 24 hours, and we really liked the complimentary breakfast in the morning. We would recommend staying again for sure.

The hotel is well located and within easy walking distance of downtown. The room was clean, the breakfast was good, and the hotel staff was friendly. The plumbing is a little noisy and I wish there had been a refrigerator in the room. Overall the Hampton is a good value and I would stay there again.

This was the first hotel on our journey (the 2nd out of 3). This one and another had terribly thin walls. Our neighbors were just having a normal conversation and we could hear them as if they were in the room with us. It was terrible. The room was not all that clean and the hotel could use a little updating. I don't feel that we got what we paid for.
