The elevators were terrible.

Breakfast was very nice, the woman working the breakfast bar was super nice

So I believe I would put it to the season of this pandemic. There wasn’t much help from the stuff as I called requesting a toothbrush and I was bluntly told we are too busy to get someone to deliver it to you so you can walk to the front desk and get it yourself. I am a traveler with work and all and I been in hotels and I can tell the service there was just not up to par. This is coming from someone who really doesn’t do much in the hotel except come back to sleep.

The staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel parking lot was a bit intimidating because of the lighting and feeling of seclusion. I thought the property would meet or exceed the ambiance of the restaurant Kabana, but it did not. My son was allergic to something in the air or in the sleeper sofa. He was terribly congested with puffy eyes during the stay and cleared up a few hours into our travels after we checked out. I would not recommend this hotel to allergy sufferers. Convenient location , but not worth the money.

Location was ideal to canal walk

There was a false alarm during our stay. We were told to evacuate using the stairs. There were people fighting outside the hotel and hit the alarm that triggered the announcement to evacuate our rooms. Staff should have made announcement that it was a false alarm. Announcement should be a lockdown because of the people destroying property which is a sign of violence. We should have stayed in our rooms where it s safer. I cancelled a return reservation

Management and desk services are incompetent. Local manager should be immediately terminated. We were "checked out" inspite of four day reservations; I had to prove it. Room on TWO STRAIGHT days was not cleaned; I had to verbally demand towels at 9 AM at night; delivery did not clean any part of the room as requested. I requested that the manager call me; it never happened. Alleged that she/he could not call from off site. Desk clerk would not accept "manager duties" even though sign was pasted on the wall saying he was in charge. BIG sign on the counter proclaiming that for any reason I was unhappy , the hotel would make it right. It did not happen; not even a try. An absimal experience and managerial irresponsibility throughout! We will not be back for any reason!!

The staff were nice but the carpet in my room was really dirty and a huge food stain was left on. There shouldn’t be visible dust or stains. The roof top pool didn’t have towels most of the time and trash was laying around. If these little things could be addressed by management, would make all the difference.

Parking garage is extremely outdated and questionably safe.

We loved our stay here. The location was very convenient for our trip. With any downtown location, we were required to pay daily parking, which was $15. That was the only negative thing about the place but we knew ahead of time since the location was in downtown. Breakfast was included and it was very good! On saturday, breakfast was from 7am - 10am. You were able to eat there or take some to go with the plastic plates. Our room that had 2 beds and a sofa bed was very spacious! It was also nice that we had a full size fridge, a microwave, a good size sink, and a 2 burner stove top. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it. We paid $130 something for our trip in Sept. 2018

Nice and spacious rooms. Stayed there for 3 nights with kids. My main issue with them was , no housekeeping until you requested. That also they will just hand over some clean towels and toilet papers. No making bed or vacuuming until you specifically request. That’s kind of odd as I understand if it’s an extended stay , you get housekeeping on request but this is Hampton we are talking about. Overall a decent stay .
