I like that they had elevators where once you pressed the floor before getting there is no more pressing the elevator comes and takes you to your floor and there is hand sanitizer right there to use after pressing. I didn’t like that when we got to the room there was a dirty sock in a chair that looked like it had not been dusted in months. Also when we arrived there was no one at the front desk, we had to wait about 3 minutes before the staff at the front desk showed up. I also didn’t like that when I called the front desk for service the phone rang out continuously.

We were on the 19th floor. Just above us was a roof top night club. We were not aware of this and had we known the music would blast until 2am we would NEVER have booked this hotel. We tried to go to sleep at 10pm, but we’re up past 2am. It was miserable. We tried to move rooms but the hotel was full. The hotel told us that they apologize and would be happy to refund our stay but then realized we booked through a third party. We request a refund. It was horrendous!

My room was spotless and huge. Lots of towels and nice little shampoos, etc. I did not like the parking garage. It seemed too easy for random people from the street to get in. Then you had to wait by the elevator (alone in my case) to even get to the lobby, which was kind of desolate itself.

I stayed at your Hampton Inn in Chicago Loyola Station and I found it much more welcoming and warm as soon as I stepped in. I did not feel that at this Hampton Inn.

Good location in Richmond close to all the sights. However the room was dirty upon arrival with stains on the floor and puddles of sticky something on end tables floors and countertops. HVAC did not work with error code displayed. The hotel maintenance people were unable to fix and I was told no other rooms were available. Public spaces were not clean either and breakfast consisted of a yogurt an old bagel some smelly hard boiled eggs and oranges if they had any left. Staff was not helpful with either cleaning or any services that they advertised they had. I would not stay there again. This hotel was not up to the Hilton brand.

Arrived at hotel got my keys, room key did not work my family and I was in the hall for 20 mins. The hotel staff open the door and said they fixed the keys. My family and I went to dinner, return with our food and could not get into our room again. We stood in the hall with our food 10 more mins waiting for maintenance. After they open the door again... instead of the manager suggesting to move us to another room I had to request them to do it...because maintenance couldn’t fix the door. Cold food and tired!!

Property is outdated in many areas - "If you want to keep your towels another day hang them in bathroom" - yet there's not a single bar or hook for towels! Breakfast was a disgrace, the "dark roast" was reminiscent of airline coffee in the 50s - lamp on night table had not been dusted in a long time - will be very careful in the future when booking Hampton Inn in the internet -

I liked that the hotel was downtown and in an area that seems pretty safe. It offers hot breakfast. The rooms look nice and are spacious. That's why I chose it. However, my experience at this hotel last weekend was memorable for wrong reasons. We had parking issues! Plus, We were MISERABLE during our whole stay that night. We were FREEZING in our room. The heat did not work properly in our room and it was extremely cold. The air conditioner kept coming on once the temperature reached 66 degrees and remained on. We called the front desk several times, and the person kept saying they'd call someone to fix it. Each time they tried to do something about it, heat would come on for about 10 minutes (by then the temperature was 64 degrees) and then when it got up to 66 degrees, the heat would cut off and the air conditioner would automatically come back on blowing cold air. We kept calling, and I even made a trip back downstairs around midnight, but eventually they told us there was nothing they could do. So my elderly parents slept bundled up in their coats and hats. I was so cold I couldn't even do my work because it was too cold to think and no one could enjoy any food we had. The only thing we could do was jump into bed as fast as we could because outside of bed we were terribly cold. Fortunately, they gave us two extra blankets. It was such a miserable experience. We did not enjoy our stay at all. Unfortunately, we couldn't wait for the morning to come so that we could leave.

Check in was superb! Deion was the absolute best! He was so efficient, friendly and made us feel as very valued customers! The shuttle was easy, the food delicious, the parking was easy and having it directly on the bill was great. We actually changed our May reservations to this hotel because we were so impressed!

Its weird that there are 2 hotels in one building.. and it takes some getting used to the button-less-elevator... but everything is great

What we liked is that it was clean enough not to be grossed out, the staff was really friendly and the parking ramps were attached to the hotel

Pool was too small for swimming--it would have been better to use that space for a a hot tub.

Our room was very large. Bed was very comfortable . Location was perfect. Elevators were very confusing at first but we got the hang of it. The parking garage was challenging. Very tight spaces. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

Staff was amazing. Very helpful and accommodating.

Arrived at hotel got my keys, room key did not work my family and I was in the hall for 20 mins. The hotel staff open the door and said they fixed the keys. My family and I went to dinner, return with our food and could not get into our room again. We stood in the hall with our food 10 more mins waiting for maintenance. After they open the door again... instead of the manager suggesting to move us to another room I had to request them to do it...because maintenance couldn’t fix the door. Cold food and tired!!
