El personal tienen que darlas más entrenamiento porque no tienen nada de amabilidad

Demasiada restricciones, mascarillas para todos, fila para para los alimentos y para la bebida; en la nevera de la habitación solo agua, no hay espectáculos en el teatro, la mayorías de los empleados aburridos y con poco deseo de trabajar, los bares cerrados temprano, y los baños ni se diga.

Food excellent, pool excellent, room service excellent, What I dont like, deficience at the restaurant, no good customer service, I have to eat stand for 2 occasion, not waiter asked me for assistance, besides this matter, everything was good.

On the 8th of July, I made a reservation for two oceanfront rooms for the weekend of my birthday July 10th. Upon arrival my husband and I checked in and informed the front desk that my brother, the person whom the other room was reserved for, was on his way as he was attending a wedding some 40 minutes away, she said (Miguelina) that it wouldn't be a problem and that my brother can check it at whatever time he got there that evening. Long and behold, my brother arrived at 8:00pm that evening and was told that all rooms were sold out. Of course, I let them have it. They told me that that there was nothing they can do but transfer him to the hotel next door, SENATOR. The only recommendation was for him to return to that side the next day and see whether or not the oceanfront rooms were available. At that point I was so disgusted, we didn't bother. I had shared with the manager (Albert) that it was my birthday and he shared that for my troubles he would send strawberries and champagne to my room, which I'm still waiting for. The next day, we decided to go visit my brother and hang out by the pool with him, but that wasn't until we were interrupted and told we weren't allowed to be on that side because we didn't have yellow bracelets. The only pool available on our side was filled with small children. The DJ played the same music by Romeo Santos. Place is outdated. We used keys to open the doors and safe. Dining room service is horrible. You get what you pay. STAY AWAY!!

The food was good with lots of options. The staff was friendly and always helpful. They do on site Covid test at $7 a person. The pools were beautiful. An absolute must stay at.

I booked 2 nights and 3 days for this hotel. I had to change of hotel that same night i arrived. Room had bad smell, key of the sink in bathroom was broken and AC not working. I said i will go eat and maybe condition of the room gets better. it didn't work. went back to room i found a roach walking. I decided to change from this hotel to Senator. I went to the reception and told them i wanted to change and explained them the issue i had with the room. i even took a video of the roach to show them. I talked to them nicely even waited to see if situation got better. While i was there, there was a man really mad yelling at them and telling them to give the money back. That he knows what is to have AC working and they were already helping him and giving him something better. I didn't get an apology not even a discount on the price i paid to change from hotel. The receptionist jt's said to each other"We have to fumigate the room". if i would have acted like the angry man i would have gotten a discount or at least an apology or maybe a better offer to make customer happy and clean up their reputation but i was so nice that i didn't deserve not even an" I'm sorry for the inconvenience" i have been to this resort when they were RIU Bachata and they were one of the best in town..Now? not recommending it at all. very disappointing

I like the view of the mountains and it was very close to the pool area and the beach

Our room was 3006. Cleanliness.... oh boy... room was filthy. Mold, stains, matress was black, room musty, dead roaches in the drawer. Curtains were filthy, dust you could make it into a snowball.

The price was excellent for an all inclusive but most of the staff are very rude

We are sorry that your resort experience was not pleasant and we take your comment as an example in order to avoid situations as those expressed on this review. In regards to the complimentary room upgrade provided upon check-in for your party, it was necessary to explain that Senator Puerto Plata is another property, and guests from Playabachata cannot use the facilities there. However, the reverse situation is possible; I am very disappointed that your stay was not as pleasant as it could have been.
