As a single hard working man I look for peace and quiet if I am traveling alone. 1. I get to lifestyle tropical only to be told that will be staying at one the other resorts on the property. As you book your trip you have the option of picking out resort you will like stay at on this property. I choose lifestyle tropical not the Palms. 2.i go for dinner and i had to walk up and small hills and 7 stair cases to get to the buffet. Elderly ppl were walking the same path were gasping for air. 3. Food was ok but not great. Not a big variety for such big resort. 4. My drink of choice is LONG ISLAND ICE TEA. I had one and it was horrible. I went to another bar tender and even worst. I ask for a presidents beer and it tasted as if it was watered down. I then ask for and easy drink, vodka and cranberry. Lord have mercy… taste like cardboard. 5. I go to back to my room again up and down stairs and hills plus im on the second floor, time to rest due to all the traveling and disappoint I just needed to sleep. Holy cow, golf carts and shuttle bus drive till 1am making noise struggling to get up and down the hills. 6. 4AM Garbage truck or some kind of truck parks near my room AND engine running while working making load noise. Leave about 4:30 am only to hear more noise from golf carts and shuttle busses at 5AM. No sleep. 7. 8am wake me up to try and sell me a dream. 8. Free wifi in one section of the resort. Had to pay 45$ for 3 days I CHECKED OUT THE VERY DAY.
Beautiful
Need to do a better job keeping the bathrooms clean towels were old and discolored. Pools also could use some love. I booked 2 rooms and they refused to place us next to each other, it was frustrating dealing with them, but they really wanted to convince us to sign up for the vacation club, I let them know we had not interest due to treatment we received during our stay.
The VIP beach area was very nice. The staff there are accommodating, and the cabanas are a nice touch. They are well maintained. The dining experience was terrible. The food looks and tastes terrible. The exclusive restaurants were bad as well. I'm pretty sure that the Indian food served repurposed food from the Chineese restaurant.
Just returned from a 5 day, all inclusive stay at the Tropical Lifestyles Resort. Overall, I would consider the resort as average, but on par for what we paid. We stayed in 2 queen bed room in Building 2. The room was pretty clean, nothing fancy, did smell a bit of mildew though. Room wasn’t as cool as I’d prefer considering the temperature outside, but it was adequate. Water pressure was something to be desired and the water was either cold or scorching hot depending on the time of day. Our building was close to the lobby, the gift shop, and pools, so that was nice. Being near guest services is important seeing that you have to visit them several times a day to attempt to receive a dinner reservation each day, which is extremely frustrating and inconvenient. The buffets are where you end up if you don’t have a reservation, so plan on being there frequently. I didn’t care for the buffet at all, but the Pear at Confressi was better than Casablanca. We were able to get our 1 guaranteed reservation at the Brazilian restaurant which was very good, and air conditioned!! We also got a same day reservation at the Mexican restaurant which was good as well, but not air conditioned as most of the restaurants there. The pools were nice, but def need some maintenance. Staff is wonderful, however didn’t appreciate the hounding outside of the buffet to purchase timeshare, pics, spa, cigars, etc. 1 nightly show, otherwise not much going on. Overall, just ok.

Nice and clean
The room I had was nothing as described. Bathroom toilet was dirty. Room mirrors dirty from paint. Was not as shown in the pictures. But other than that the beach was nice, the shows were amazing and staff were very friendly and nice. Just the room I was in wasn’t good.
When we booked under this listing we assumed we would be staying in the tropical, as it says tropical beach resort. When we got there we were put in a room at Cofresi beach. It looked like it hasn’t been updated since the place opened. No hot water in the showers. Pools and beaches were clean and service was nice. Drinks are cheap liquor unless you are a member. Food was pretty consistent with other all-inclusives. Felt like false advertising for them to put us in Cofresi Beach when it was not in the title, only below in the location. Took us to a breakfast to then try and do the time share tour but we declined. Overall okay for the price!
