The vacation home (more accurately described as a condo unit) was beautiful and I'm open to staying there again in the future. However, I was very surprised to find out after my reservation was confirmed that the location was actually 25 minutes away from my destination. We stayed within the Storey Lake condos in Kissimmee and not at Vista Cay in Orlando, as listed. While it was beautiful, I could see this being an inconvenience to other travelers as well. The advertisement should really be amended to reflect the location as varying between Kissimmee/Orlando and being dependent upon the availability of Casiola Vacation Homes. The advertisement currently says "Vista Cay Resort" but it is not necessarily within that resort. I brought this up to the Casiola Guest Relations team and in very few words, said there was nothing they could do about it. Customer Service is very lacking. Thankfully, the nice unit made up for it and we woke up earlier to compensate for the further drive.
very clean all brand new, close to universal and shopping
We loved this place! We walked to convention center each day(10-15min walk), 2 min. walk to supermarket to get some breakfast food for week, beautiful path for running in morning, great pool and hot tub with pool bar for late night relaxing, beautiful porch with views of lake for morning coffee, lots of wildlife - birds and alligators. Decor was recently updated so it felt luxurious, lots of space for four co-workers to spread out. Really made our work trip feel more like a vacation!
Orange County Convention Center is within 2 miles (3 km) of Vista Cay Resort by Casiola Vacation Homes while other popular attractions such as Aquatica are within 3 miles (5 km). This 5-room, 3.5-star vacation home welcomes guests with 3 outdoor pools, a bar/lounge, and free in-room WiFi. It's connected to the convention center in central Orlando and also close to Congo River Golf - Orlando I-Drive.
