Ramada Orlando Near Convention Center

The rooms are pretty small but for the price this hotel is not bad, the wifi was good and so was the breakfast. My only complaint is that they should update this hotel, it looks pretty old and as if it needs renovations. The location in proximity to the convention center is pretty far but $6 from uber of lyft and it's no problem.

The complimentary breakfast was disappointing due to long waits for items to be cooked and brought to buffet table; kept running out of eggs, bread, muffins, etc. There was a shortage of tables & chairs to sit and eat the meal after finally getting some.

Good price and great location. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for walking distance on International Drive.

Ramadan bought this 50's or 60's hotel put their name on it and it looks as though they did no renovations to it. The room was only made up one time even though I stayed 4 nights. Bedding was not changed at all for the 4 nights. Two mornings the continental breakfast had no coffee (they said they were waiting for a delivery. The room was dirty and the caulking around the tub was cracked.

This Ramada was just OK. The room was clean, but there were a few problems...the shower leaked, the mattress was strange in that you could feel the springs easily, and most importantly I was in a ground floor room on the back side of the property with an outside entrance (all the rooms open to the exterior) and the window curtains did not close very well. I felt a little worried about my safety in those conditions. That said, it is a pretty family friendly area so it was not terrifying. Breakfast was OK, but the breakfast area was very crowded with tables so people did a lot of bumping into each other. Staff at the desk and the breakfast area were all pretty grumpy. I was starting to think it was just me! But I made a real effort to be friendly and still had pretty tough interactions. Finally, on the last day I was about to jump in the shower when I realized that they had taken all the towels without replacing them. I had to get dressed, call the desk, and wait for a towel so I could get on with my day.

Hotel is a little worn and needs some repairs but not too bad. The room had a little bit of a musty smell until we turned on the AC, but was fine after that. Beds a little creaky and blankets thin. Staff was inconsistent - some very friendly and others not very responsive to questions at the front desk. Training a new guy who was somewhat clueless. When busy they seemed to ignore us. But Nirvana and Mariant (sp?) were quite helpful. Shower was great and bathroom clean. Overall, an OK hotel for those of us who don't need 5 star treatment. The breakfast was excellent - scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles, bagels, toast, bananas, oranges, apples, juices, yogurt, cereals, danish, coffee. Best part of the hotel next to its location.

Really basic and raw. They add additional charges for what they claim to help provide an excelllent experience. The experience was like a bail bondsmen window to get your key, the shower was trying to be a dual shower, if you include the leaking ceiling, with painted plywood from 1986 with hanging science experiment droplets in many strange colors. The hvac moans all night long, and it wasn't the neighbor. For anorher few bucks a night you can find much better.

This hotel is not what we expected. Our room was in need of renovation and had many maintenance issues. Mattress was horrible with sagging spots. Bathroom sink drain stopper was broken and stuck down. Shower faucet was coming unattached from the wall. Just a dingy old room in need of a rehab. Good thing was no bed bugs though! Breakfast was disappointing as well. Would not stay here again.

Dirty room, they save the worst rooms for people that book through Orbitz, my room was near the swimming pool filter room and it makes a racket

Hotel was a bit out of the way. High end restaurants and shopping near by. Had to catch a trolley for eateries more in my price range. The hotel needs a face lift . Rooms are small and everything looks old. The rooms were dark, even with all the lights on and furniture seemed crammed in place. Not comfortable to just "be" in the room.

Checked in on time without hassle. Nice clean room. Enjoyed it. Nice little pool and great breakfast selection. Worth the 12 dollar extra on top of the other rates that the other cheap hotel charge. The hotel is within walking distances to all restaurant and bar on idrive, which makes it even more awesome.

We love Ramada. All was fine except for bad sewer odor in our room.

The Room- carpeted, 2 double beds, several lamps, small closet, armchair, tub/ shower combination, toiletries, TV, refrigerator and microwave. The room was cleaned daily but there was a mouldy scent, towels and toiletries were given everyday. The drapes did not properly cover the small window and as such it would be possible for others to look in (the door and window opens into the external corridor). The breakfast- bagels, bread, sausage, eggs, butter, cream cheese, pancakes, bacon, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, juice. The only downside was that the eating area was quite small and people had to wait for an available seat. Outside seating was available, but given the cold weather, was challenging to use. The hot beverages were available 24 hours. The staff- had to change room due to high mouldy scent in one of the ground floor rooms and the move was easily facilitated. However, the staff members were polite but not warm and inviting. However, special must be made of Nadia at the Tour Desk who was at all times courteous and knowledgeable. The janitorial staff were also very pleasant and efficient in their duties. The pool- I did not use the pool due to the cold January weather but the water looked clean and the surrounding area was well kept. The location- ideally located on the popular International Drive near I-Ride stop #13. Walking distance to Walgreens, Red Robin, Golden Corral, Checkers, Outback Steakhouse, China Buffet, Kings Classy Bowling Joint, Madame Tussauds, and the newly opened Orlando Eye. This hotel shows signs of its age but its price is an indication that this is not a luxury resort. However, for all that it lacks, its location compensates, guests get a free breakfast and wifi. And with all the excitement that Orlando has to offer, you will only see your room twice a day- on leaving early and returning late after you’ve had your fill of fun! I will stay here again and recommend to others.

not today. another time. Just to say that people are very friendly and like the job that they are committed to do.

OLDER HOTEL BUT CLEAN AND NICE STAFF GOOD FOR BUSINESS OR FAMILIES CLOSE TO RESTAURANTS

Hotel staff very friendly and continental breakfast was very good only problem was the first room i checked into the AC was broken they gladly changed me to another room more attention needs to be paid to the little things like curtains not hung properly and the room seem to be dated other than that the state was very nice

Great room for the price nice staff and clean will stay there again

This hotel was located in the middle of everything we wanted to do. It's a little older, and does not have a huge pool (although you can use the Y next door for free), the location and price makes up for the fancier stuff we don't use anyway. Each day breakfast was different!

The hotel room is small but appropriate for the size of the bed. The room looks a bit old but I had no problems. The breakfast was limited but good. The location is fantastic as you can walk to many restaurants in the local area, as the facility is right off International Drive. One of the best features is the YMCA pass which is across the parking lot! All in all, a fine stay.

Great for the price. There was a pizza place across the street. Good access to highway.
