This was a beautiful property, still under construction. I wish I knew that my balcony facing the gulf would have working crews show up at 8 a.m with their loud equipment for the pool they were building below, which was still a muddy mess. Otherwise, the beach had beautiful white sand, the restaurants were pricey but good, the water pressure was fantastic, the rooms were new and clean, cozy lobby with a fireplace (it is winter) and a coffee/wine/pastry bar. The bed was ok, the pillows garbage. I would try it again and take my own pillow.

Oh my. My family and I truly enjoyed it. Somethings to note is there is construction going on but it doesn't interfere with the stay too bad. The ocean and the natural sounds of the waves are beautiful. There was something for everyone to enjoy from our teens to the adults. We will go again.

There was no breakfast included in the stay at the hotel. There was a Resturaunt that was overpriced but we did not eat there. Parking was not free either. There was a fee for the parking of an extra 15/day self park or 22 for valet

We booked a (VERY!) last minute trip to Gulf Shores (from Mobile) to fish and just get out of town. We picked The Lodge for the pricing, scenery, and distance from the state pier. We were very, very pleased with everything. The hotel is gorgeous and very clean. Food was delicious and service was great! We enjoyed a little fishing, a beach sunrise, good breakfast, and off season prices! We will be back during the warmer months when we can stay a little longer. Highly recommend staying here, even if only for a night!
