It was just "OK". Nothing especially resort-like. They cleaned, swept, and mopped daily to keep all the sand out of the hallways and rooms, and did a nice job in the room. It's just missing that something extra that is needed to give it personality. It was very generic but the price is too much for "generic". Staff were all very nice, professional and courtious. Need more wash stations when getting off the beach, need more for adults to do and sit indoors to relax in the evenings.

This was a very nice family oriented hotel. Only down side was the pool was a bit small and wish they had a hot tub. Arcade is small and pretty much for little kids.

For OC, this property does feel like a resort and by far one of the best vacation stays. The pool was lively and the private beach was awesome with its own volleyball court. The rooms are extended stay like with a full kitchen. Since it’s close to the beach, there was sand in the room since it’s hard to clean. Recommend to take Clorox wipes if you are OCD. They appear to be under staffed so recommend to take extra towels and/or mini broom if it’s something that would get to you. The staff was busy- but kind. There were multiple walkable restaurants with delicious food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as pubs and candy store.

The access to the beach was absolutely perfect. Walk right out the door and there is the beach! First time staying here but will not be the last. The rooms with 2 queens and a separate living area with mini kitchen are ideal.
