This is the first time I have stayed in the Princess Royale. The room is very nice and clean. There is little kitchen but it is convenient. There a big pool in door and very clean. I’ll book it next time I visit Ocean City.

Great staff, great room and great view. I was 100% satisfied

This hotel is definitely our place to stay whenever we visit Ocean City, Md. we've stayed there for several years now and it only gets better. Every staff member is friendly, courteous and helpful! The beds are super comfy and the rooms are clean and well stocked with the essentials. The location is also a plus. There is a restaurant in the hotel but there are several great restaurants within walking distance. I love the Princess Royale and will surely return! Thank you for the consistently great stay!

We normally stay a little further up the street, but after reading the reviews and comparing decided to try your hotel.glad we did great rooms...very fast check in,we where in our room with luggage 10 minutes after pulling up too valet parking.

They are dirty pigs to wash a plate and knife with soap from the bathroom. Never changed the sheets. Or serviced the room correctly. .orbitz gets discount room rates from them in . exchange you will get pour service to compensate for their pay reduction...beware of orbitz they wont back you not one bit they are in on it with there scam. Also i paid orbits for the room.. and they princess royale made me pay at front desk again upon check in ...held my money for 10 business days...orbitz is a scam..,

Please post someone at the front to help with valet parking as soon as guests arrives. Its too congested at front when you have lots of luggage, kids and old people travelling together and nobody at front of the hotel to help with details..we have to get out take stuff and get inside to know there is a valet parking.

Really nice hotel. Very clean and great amenities. Nice pool friendly staff nice gym.

Great Staff, very clean room, excellent facility, would highly recommend.

The hotel is in a good location on a nice stretch of the beach. Our room was clean but dated, and several of the slats from the blinds were missing. The pool is nice, but the parking garage was difficult to navigate with our van. We were supposed to stay three nights, but our youngest got very sick and we had to leave after the first night. Yes, it was in the hotel's right to charge us for the other two nights, but it's poor customer service. It was a weekend and the room would have been filled. They got our money this time, but they have lost a repeat customer.

Hotel is very dated, the beach is not clean, and the hotel smells.

Facility is nicely laid out with parking garage easily accessible. Check in was quick and easy with plenty of friendly bell hops available. Found all staff to be friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was not up to the quality of the rest of hotel.

Wifi is spotty and light bulb on the balcony doesn't work

The room was great -- ours opened up directly to the beach ! I could hear the sounds of the waves crashing against the shore. We were able to walk the beach early in the morning before sunrise and in the evening for sunset. I was able to capture to capture BEAUTIFUL pics. Love Ocean City !!

We booked our room through orbitz. The hotel would not honor any coupons we received through our email, even though we have stayed there about 5 times. The first room we went to had a bad odor from the dishwasher. The staff promptly moved us to another room, which was much better.

Our stay would have been a lot nicer had it not been for the construction right outside our room which interrupted our view of the beach and ocean. We would like to have the same room again without the construction. Schooners Sunday Breakfast Buffet is one to be missed. Other than that, Very nice hotel.

While this hotel has many great features, my concern was finding where my room was in relation to the other conference rooms.

Very nice hotel at a great location I would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure

This is a wonderful, although slightly dated resort. We went there offseason in late October. The indoor pool and facilities are great (workout room could use some varied equipment), and the room's kitchenette was well stocked. About halfway through our stay, we smelled a very strong paint thinner smell. We called the desk, and the staff asked if we wanted to move rooms. We said no, as we were going out for the day. The clerk told us she would ask maintenance to stop whatever they were doing, to eliminate the smell. We later saw painters in rooms which were below ours. When we returned, the smell was better, but it returned when we went to bed. It was so bad my wife had to sit out on the balcony with a blanket and pillow because she was coughing so much. We discovered the smell was coming from the ventilation shaft in the bathroom, so closing the bathroom door helped a lot. I realize a hotel must do such work, but they really should have considered moving people to the other side of the hotel. Other than this very annoying (and unhealthy) experience, everything was great. The staff was friendly, but when I mentioned the problem at the desk upon checkout, the clerk asked did you call the down about it?, without even looking up at me. It seems a hotel of this caliber would want to fix such a situation for their guests, or at least make adequate ventilation arrangements. We had no idea how bad the smell would get, but we should have taken the offer to switch rooms.

Planned my stay on a whim, and I was so happy with my choice to stay at the Princess Royale. I walked pretty much everywhere I wanted to go, didn't have to take car any where unless I wanted to. The hotel was quiet, perfect ocean views very comfortable and crisp fall weather. I had a great weekend recharge and will definitely come back to stay at the Princess if I can.

This place has everything you need and is a great value for off-peak travelers.
