Given king size sheets for my twin bed and no blanket. Non smoking room smells like smoke. No parking.

Decent hotel. Could do with a better bed and pillows. Fair value for price. Good location.

The room was spacious (for a New York hotel!). There were 4 of us in a 2 double bed room. Breakfast was good, except we got there towards the end but sadly they were out of a number of things but didn’t restock.

Great hotel in Washington Heights. Typical NYC hotel room size (small) but with good natural light, views, comfortable bed, places to plug your electronic devices. Modern, clean building with friendly, helpful staff who allowed us to leave our bags for the day after check-out. They offer a good variety of snacks and machine-made coffee in the lobby, though noticeably overpriced. Also, be careful how you book. I overpaid by more than $60 for one night going through Orbitz. Better to call the hotel directly and book. Ask for "winter special" pricing. Hotel is 1 1/2 blocks from the 168th St / Broadway subway station, with access to 1, 2 and A lines. You can take an express A line train downtown to Time Square, Penn Station (midtown), etc. Very convenient to travelers heading to Washington Heights.

Nice, clean, and convenient. Just the room is tiny.

As the only hotel near Columbia University Hospital, the convenience alone makes it a good choice. That being said the staff was really above and beyond the rest. They knew my name right away and helped me with everything I needed. The rooms are small (like everywhere in big cities) but are super neat, clean and the beds are great. Again, it is the front office and support staff that set it apart.

I stayed here for business and was very pleased with my stay. The room was very clean and had everything I needed. The rooms are not large but comfortable. The hotel is close to two train stations so it is convenient to get to the trains. There are places to eat nearby. The staff were all very nice and friendly.

The Edge Hotel is a great base for visiting family or friends in Inwood, Riverdale or along the Metro North Hudson Line in Westchester County. The A and 1 subway lines are a block away for when you want to visit the rest of the city.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful facility. Although we only had one night to experience the overall ambiance and the friendly and accomadating staff, we would definitely recommend the Edge to our friends. Initially we were not so keen on the location, but it ended up being fine and we had a wonderful time there anyhow.

Near my hospital appt. - parking easy - staff nice and helpful

Clean room and nice staffs. We had a pleasant stay for one day.
