Best Western Plus Sands

Good location

Good location, although there was a band playing on the floor below our room so we had a hard time trying to sleep, bathroom needs to be renovated, great beds and really clean overall. No complementary breakfast.

Hotel Blu Vancouver

Nice new hotel

Great Hotel, great service and good location. Staff was very helpful, especially the guy at the door during the weekday mornings. Hotel was close to everywhere so we just walked everywhere. Clean rooms and a big plus that there was a free laundry facility.

Met Hotel

Ok hotel - great location

The room is very basic & old. Pictures on the wall in the room were crooked & the bed was very old. There’s a single sink with no counter in the bathroom. It does have a refrigerator. The cable didn’t work & the remote you had to mash to get the buttons to work. I finally ask the front desk to fix the cable after I realized the cable TV was not working & it never got fixed even though they tried. I just didn’t pursue it any further since we were leaving the next morning. I reserved this hotel for the inexpensive price. Cost goes up the closer one gets to Vancouver. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It’s right next to the train station & the River Walk is across the street. You’ll definitely want to take the train into Vancouver as the traffic is similar to driving in the burrows of New York. It’s really bad!
