We stayed at this hotel for nine nights. Overall, everything was good. The room was clean, and the staff was respectful and professional. The reason for this review is that when I booked the room (over a month in advance), there was no description about extra fees for parking. It was clearly posted: "Self-parking available." However, when we checked in, they said the parking was $25 per night. I explained, and the front desk admitted that it was their fault for not mentioning the extra fees and that they would change the description. They said they would only charge me for four nights, but when we checked out and I told the front desk the story, they said they had changed the description and charged me $225 for outdoor parking, which was very disappointing.

The hotel is well situated by the harbour with excellent view of the river - however it is also on the landing and take off strip for the airport. We had a room on 6th floor on harbour side and it sounded like a motor cycle gang rode by our room every 30 minutes. Impossible to sleep. Exceptional breakfast, exceptional room comfort and clean and services. The shuttle was easy to find always on time and super convenient. great lounge. Now if they could do something about those planes we would return.

The reason I am giving this review is because when we checked out (4:30am) we accidentally left an expensive item in our room. I have been trying all morning (4+ hours) to get through to their front desk and either sit on hold for 20 mins then get kicked out of the cue and call disconnects or the call doesn’t go through at all. I have tried their text service as well, and their booking line with zero luck and similar issues. There is more than enough airport hotels to choose next time we fly out of YVR (which happens often) if this is the level of service they provide.
