Check-in time was listed as 3:00, but our room wasn’t ready until after 4:00. On top of that, we were charged $25 for parking, which felt unreasonable given the location and lot size. When I questioned it, the staff member at the counter was dismissive, saying “well it’s overnight” which struck me as odd since that’s the whole point of staying at a hotel. Considering they weren’t ready for us at check-in, waiving the fee would have been a fair gesture, but that wasn’t offered. The staff also came across as a bit rude, which was disappointing. The positive side is the room itself it was clean and newly remodeled, which we appreciated. That said, the disorganization and poor customer service left a bad impression, and I don’t plan on staying here again.

I liked the style and amenities of the room. It also had a nice view of water and a boat marina. While it was only a short shuttle distance from Vancouver Airport, there didn't appear to be good eating options within easy walking distance of the hotel.
