It's a very good location as a tourist but noisy. The elevator sounds all night. Suggestion: check your bicycle before taking it. With "check" I mean to ride it through a street. Breaks were not working very good after riding bike two blocks.

Just a wonderful stay and loved the free use of hotel bikes to tour Vancouver.

We stayed there for a few days over the weekend and it was a very enjoyable stay. The hotel overall was very cute and modern, the room was very clean, as well as the overall hotel. The location was right in the middle of Vancouver and really close to everything. There is a coffee shop and a pretty good restaurant downstairs. My only gripe is that the air conditioner was so loud and that there was no fan in the bathroom beside a window that opened right into the corridor so that anyone walking by could clearly see inside. Other then it was a very pleasant stay and we are planning on coming back.

Great location. Walking distance to Sloane Park, lots of restaurants, and the metro.

Walking distance of some very nice restaurants. Free SECURE WiFi. The in room safe didn't work due to low battery. problematic for storing passports. Free coffee, but WHERE ARE THE COFFEE CUPS? Sheets are rather scratchy. The heating/cooling unit had two fan speeds: off and wind tunnel. The front desk clerk couldn't figure out how to print out detailed driving instructions on computer's Google Maps. The wall mounted shampoo/conditioner/ dispensers required two hands to squeeze, so how do I grow a third hand to catch?

The hotel is very eclectic and cute. The staff is nice and the beds comfy - it was very clean. There are bikes to use and a parking garage. There is no place to have a drink or food after work and unwind. For biz travel this sucks because after being in a new city, you have to find a place to eat and you can't drink because you have to drive or walk the street at night to find your way back to the hotel. There is a coffee shop there and it would be nice if it had a nice offering in the evening with bar food and some wine. So for that reason I will not be going back.

Clean, comfortable, quirky with many sustainability pluses. Great beds and pillows. First rate staff who remembers you. The rooms are starting to show a bit of wear (walls, doors, ceiling, furniture).

This is a real gem. It's clean, convenient, close to the heart of the downtown, and easily accessible if you're willing to walk fifteen minutes from the nearest Canada Line station.

Great location! Free bike rental was a great plus!

Excellent location, free bike rentals, my room was ready early, clean, air coditioned. Staff was great. Just be careful parking in the lower level of their garage (low cieling).

The hotel bikes were a great way to see the very cycle friendly city

Perfect location. Walk whether you want to go. Friendly staff, specially housekeeping. Very clean. Much better than the totally hectic hotel where I went for a swim!

Last time I was in Vancouver I stayed at the Hyatt on Burrard next to the Burrard station. This hotel however was simply an amazing little gem in the Heart of the City. Perfect location the free bikes were awesome so was the Nespresso machine in the room and I did like the fact that they did not have little bottles of shampoo Etc in the room just big ones to save plastic. Weather wasn't quite warm enough for me to sit in the courtyard although really cute I loved the Retro yet modern style of this hotel. I hope it's around for a long time because I'm only staying here next time I'm in Vancouver

great 50's theme- great job refurbishing this hotel- wonderful staff that was very knowledgeable about the city and where to ride those awesome and free bikes!! LOVED having the expresso maker in my room- I had one in the morning right away and used the to go cups to bring one when I left- nice walk to shopping and restaurants- could walk or quick taxi to their mass transit-

The staff were pleasant but not overly helpful or friendly. Hotel is right on the street on two sides with road noise. If windows are closed its not bad. Also, nearby construction is going on during the day.

We walked up to the Burrard from the Celebrity cruise dock and it was a great slice of life walking tour of downtown Vancouver. We felt like we had reached home when we got there. The staff were great, telling us everything we needed to know. Super clean and cute mid-century with unique and lighthearted signage and information postcards.

The Burrard was a great place to stay. Right downtown and within walking distance to all you'd want to do in Vancover. One great plus was the free bikes the Burrard offers.

For the most part, we loved it. The location was excellent, we parked the car and walked the rest of the weekend; to Stanley Park, Yaletown, and the Olympic area. Staff answered all questions and made suggestions that turned out great. Room was very clean. My complaint is not really the hotels fault, but its across the street from the hospital and we heard ALL the ambulance bells and whistles at all times of the night. Next time I will request a room on the back side of Burrard.

we stayed at this hotel for three nights and enjoyed the great location. just a few steps away, you will find Davie street which is full of great restaurants. it's a 15' walk to english bay (beach) and approx 20' to waterfront. walk from closest skytrain station (coming from airport) is approx 15' as well. during our stay we had record high temperature which is why we would have appreciated to have an A/C - not available. there was only a fan, unfortunately, which was also very loud. there is a great breakfast place/little café included into the hotel, very convenient.

I picked this hotel while attending a conference and paid the price of the distant location/low rates in many way. The pod-coffee machine didn't work, not even for hot water. I requested a replacement which also didn't work. None of the soap dispensers worked. Could not pump the hand soap by the sink for the life of me. the Body/hair shampoo dispenser in the shower needs 3 hands - 2 to squeeze and a third to catch the output. And how does one using the bathtub use them as they are placed shoulder high. Nice little place with super-friendly staff but for some reason I could not find it on several occasions, and had to resort to hailing a cab before collapsing from exhaustion. one big plus is that the nearest cross street - Davie has tons of small ethnic restaurants of every type. Everyone will find something they like.
