The staff are friendly and attentive. The room was clean and the bed was super comfy!! It had an ac unit which was perfect and it lulled us to sleep! Good location for walking everywhere as well! Parking is very tight but it was good.

Good option as long as you’re not driving
The Burrard was clean, comfortable and centrally located. Check in was easy, service was friendly, and the room was very clean and nicely equipped with everything you need (except an ice bucket). The bed was super comfortable and the shower was fine. The room comes with a very comfortable leather chair that’s great for relaxing and working/making calls. Internet was plenty fast, and the room was very quiet - didn’t hear voices or footsteps of my neighbours at all. My only complaint was the very small parking garage. That don’t tell you that the parking lot is super tight to negotiate and that the lower level is only for small cars. I found my rental suv almost impossible to squeeze into the few spots on the upper level. And the alley where the entrance to the parking garage is, is populated by a small encampment of homeless folks who were strewn all across the alleyway making it difficult to get through. Also, the entry key pad is placed on the wall so you have to exit your vehicle to use it, which means picking your way through people who are unfortunately often getting high or are in the middle of a trip. To be fair to the hotel, they do call the police but the police don’t always clear the alley. It’s a Vancouver problem, but one exacerbated by the hotel’s physical design. I would definitely stay at The Burrard again if I wasn’t driving. It’s a nice economical option that’s only marred by it’s parking situation.

The rooms are quite small. There is a floor room air conditioner that did not cool the room down enough. The back alley where you have to go thru to park your car smells like piss and has homeless people hanging out there. The hotel did not explain the parking check in process, as the hotel is on a busy street with no place to pull into to check in.

We enjoyed our one night stay at The Burrard. We were able to get free parking as a VIP member and everything was walkable in the area. Our room was great and all the staff were very pleasant and kind. A great stay overall!

Great customer service!
All staff were very kind, helpful, and patient with me! The hotel is a little older looking but overall clean. I liked that the floors and most of the surfaces are easily cleanable (opposed to carpet or cloth surfaces).

Great location! The front desk service is exceptional. I let them know that I’d be celebrating my birthday during my stay and the staff went out of their way to make it special. I’m so grateful for their thoughtfulness and kindness. The rooms are minimalist but gets the job done. The beds were comfortable and well circulated. The stay also came with free bike rentals! My fiance and I rode around Stanley Park, which was so scenic and beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.
