Liked everything about the hotel. Breakfast could have been a little better.

Quiet, clean and modern. Convenient location. Nice gym. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for a Canucks game. We were able to walk from the hotel to the stadium. It was raining and the front desk let me borrow an umbrella. It was a great place to stay for a game.

We stayed for 3 nights for the 1/2 marathon. This was our 2nd time with Hotel Blu. Convenient location where we can walk everywhere, including the convention center for the race expo. It's a bit further from the start and finish, but we don't mind the extra few blocks.

Quick one night stay at Hotel Blu. Front desk staff were very kind and helpful. Room was modern, nice, and comfortable. No complaints.

The staff was very nice, and initially the hotel appeared like it would be great; however, the beds were uncomfortable, we had to ask for a room that had a shower, rather than just a bathtub ( which we thought was strange). The room was linked to a motion sensor that triggered the climate control-so it got pretty warm at night. Location is great; the workout room was pretty nice/new. Probably more interesting/better values in Vancouver though.

The hotel was comfortable and convenient being on Robson street near restaruants, cafes and shopping. Close to the Metro station making arrival from the airport on the train easy. Wi-fi was excellent. Limited Television with locked down menus. Could not use my iPad to mirror to the TV. Bed was wonderful and comfortable.

Quality property with exceptional room amenities and responsive staff.

The staff were friendly, everything was good, but I expected they have room service 24/7, which they didn't have!

We loved this hotel and the staff. Great amenities. The bed was so comfortable we didn't end up leaving our room that night. Breakfast so good especially the green smoothie. I travel with my job min thru Fri and this has been my favorite hotel of all. Comfortable, clean, high speeds technology no snobbish staff.

This was a great hotel. I especially like the high tech slant to the offer. However, they need to work out the kinks in the system. While i was there the device mirroring to the tv was offline and the complimentary tablet was unavailable (for updates or something). The room was really well done. Furniture was very comfortable. The one problem was that the advertisement on spoke of loft style rooms but doesn't say that it is only for certain rooms and explain which rooms where configured this way. The other issue I had was the huge price increase from weekday stays to weekend stays. Most hotels increase but this one increased something like 50% or more. Ended up leaving and staying at a less than stellar alternate.

We stayed for 3 nights over a weekend in October for the 1/2 marathon. The service was excellent. The room was clean and new. Love the glass shower. There were an espresso machine, hot water kettle, Samsung tablet in the room - a very pleasant surprise. The gym had free weights, which is a plus. The pool, sauna, and spa were very nice after the race. The location was excellent, close to small restaurants, the stadium, arena, but away from the really busy part of downtown. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. I would definitely stay here again for my next visit to Vancouver. Excellent boutique hotel.

great staff....very clean....great amenities...highly recommend

Had 3 day stay at the hotel. Very Modern as indicated in photos and other reviews. Nice touch with the turn-down service. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided great suggestions regarding nearby eateries as the hotel doesnt have a restaurant.

We only stayed one night, but our stay was amazing. The fabulous staff gave suggestions for local restaurants, gave us directions that were easy to follow, gave us a free upgrade to an amazing loft room! The bottom four floors of this building is the hotel, and the remainder of the upper floors are residence apartments. I didn't see residence, and the building and surrounding area was quiet. BC Place was two minutes away, The Orpheum was about 7 minutes away.. Cafe Medina was also 7 min away (yum!). Great location for concerts, athletic events, runs. They offer complimentary bikes for touring.. which was fab! The only down side (which could be a downside for Hotel Blu down the road maintenace wise) was the shower.. I'm vertically challenged, and the shower sprayed over my head (I'm not that short) went out of the tub enclosure and hit the wall and door full on... water every where. I told my husband (who is taller), and he had the same thing happen (not over his head :) but hitting the wall and getting all over the floor). The hotel left chocolates on our pillows with a container of pillow spray (which they did not spray on for us - nice because some people may be sensitive)... and they gave us a bottle of wine. The whole day/night was brilliant... I highly recommend this hotel, and have told five friends already. Thanks Hotel Blu!

We enjoyed our stay immensely.. the area is great with a large variety of coffee shops and restaurants all within walking distance. While valet is free, parking is an extra $30 per night. There are no restaurants on site but they do provide a very nice breakfast option in the mornings. Nespresso pods in the rooms is a very nice touch (Unlimited availability). The staff was simply AMAZING! Couldn't have asked for better treatment. Highly recommended!!

Loved everything about this hotel (only negative is the huge price for parking - I figure this is pretty standard for hotels in the area but it still hurts). Since it is new, I fear that word will get out I won't be able to afford the rates in the future. I LOVED the Nespresso machine in the room and the abundance of electrical and USB outlets.

New hotel near BC Place. $30/day to park seemed excessive for the area. We'd definitely stay there again.

I would have given 5 stars but: parking was $30 a day, no room service (order food to room), no vending machines, and breakfast at the hotel was expensive for the options provided. Parking was $30 a day plus tax which was unexpected. This was my first time in Vancouver so I am not sure if all hotels charge for parking. There is a washer and dryer in the hotel that is free to use, but there was no laundry soap or vending machines to buy any which was inconvenient. No room service for food. But there are several restaurants close by and a McDonald's and 7eleven that are open 24 hrs that are just a few buildings down from the hotel. The elevator works by using your key card,. So you scan your card and it takes you to your room unless otherwise specified. This was a great security feature. If you do not have your card it takes you directly to the lobby. The hotel was close to everything. If you want to walk to shops, food, or entertainment there are several options. We rented a car so we drove as well; however, there are buses and trams that run in to the night if you don't have a car. The staff was friendly, helpful, and fast to take care of any requests or questions. I would definitely stay here again and do reccomend Hotel Blu to anyone wanting a safe, clean, and friendly place ro stay.
