Bathroom door would not stay closed. Barn door type. Asked front desk three time if they would fix it. Signs all over about wearing masks. Saw two staff workers without masks. One was handling the dirty linen in the elevator. No wash clothes’ only one hand towel after room serviced. Our stay was one week. Very Disappointed. Staff not friendly except one. Will not stay here again

The property was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly. Our room was spacious and there was a wide variety of choices each morning for breakfast.
Previously submitted my discuss regarding my stay and male hotel staff i dealt with, i am sending an update regarding the hotel assistant general Mgr Jody who when i spoke to about my experience was very apologetic about my experience and went above and beyond to make things right, so i would have to say although my initial experience was horrible, she restored my faith in hamptin inn as a quality hotel brand as I've always been fond of, despite one bad apple!
The hotel was great! I stayed there for work in Smyrna. The room and facilities were very clean and nice. The breakfasts were good as well, had a changing hot food menu which was nice.
When we booked a room at Hampton Inn & Suites we thought we had requested a handicapped room. Unfortunately, we didn't, however when we checked in the friendly woman at check in offered another room if that would be more accommodating for me. My husband checked out both rooms and we ended up with our original room but I was very impressed that they offered us something other than we booked. The friendly staff and comfortable rooms made the last night of our vacation a relaxing end to the week. Thank you so much for making our night!

We stayed here when we were moving down south from New York... for a quick night and stayed in a single king bed room... and absolutely loved it! We didn't have our kids with us... so didn't need extra room the first time. We have family in the area and were returning Labor Day weekend 2017 to spend with them and thought we'd stay in the same hotel, as we absolutely loved it (especially the beds) previously. We got a king bed suite this time with a pull out couch for our kids. The room was set up really weird, where you walk into the little dining room/kitchenette area and the couch is across from the king bed. The bed was nothing like the bed we slept in previously. Not sure if maybe the hotel only updated the king bed rooms... but we were really bummed. Every morning we'd wake up with a back ache! Our infant daughter who slept with my husband and I had an accident the morning after our first night staying. We left the sheets open so the room cleaners could see it, and they just made the bed with a huge poop stain on it. We ended up having to come back after a long day out... pulled the sheets back to lay our infant down, and saw that the poop was still there and had to request new sheets... that we ended up having to change ourselves. The breakfast was great the first morning during our stay... but the 2 other mornings... sucked! We had to keep asking the lady taking care of breakfast for milk, oj, creamer... everything. And she was getting upset each time!
A nicely updated hotel. Very comfortable and thoughtfully designed. Usually hotels don't have enough space to spread out and work or enough Outlets to charge all of your devices but this hotel had several. The staff was friendly and the location is convenient to get on the expressway and restaurants.
