One night stay for a national chess tournament in Nashville. The hotel has good location from and to airport and opry mills. Nice staff and spacious room. The hotel might need some updates of floor and cafe dining hall. I would also recommend fridge in guest room.

The room was nice and clean and for the money an good value. Good shower and bed was comfortable. Carpet was out-dated and should be changed. Bathroom was small and a little cramped.

staff was very nice and helpful we would stay there again

Stayed on our way to FL and on our return 2 weeks later. We were fortunate to stay on Tuesday nights when Lynn Beal Big Band was performing in the Pink Slip Lounge. Great music!

ESPECIALLY GIVEN "SELF-PROCLAIMED BOUTIQUE HOTEL" DESIGNATION, I WAS SURPRISED BY A ROOM DECOR WHICH SEEMED SOMEWHAT OLD/DATED. GAVE OFF A DARK AND DRAB VIBE. OVERALL, THOUGH, STILL A SATISFACTORY STAY.

Hotel was very convenient for airport access and downtown was a quick drive. Rooms were fairly up to date and clean. Bathroom fixtures were a little loose but worked properly.

room was not that clean. hotel was loud. woken up by drunk people in the middle of the night

Quirky modern decor nice to look at but if you want comfort look elsewhere. The furniture looks cool but there's not a comfortable seat in the house and the carpets are filthy. We stayed in the most expensive suite in the hotel on the 11th floor and I had to roll my eyes at the air comfort system which was something out of a Motel 6 that had no auto shutoff so the room temp fluctuates wildly. Our room key wouldn't open the door numerous times so we had to walk to the dinosaur of an elevator, wait forever for it to get to the top and then take the long trip down stopping at practically ever other floor on the creaky metal inch worm until finally getting to the front desk to reprogram the room card, Wash, rise, repeat, seriously, we went through this about five times in two days we were there. I wouldn't ever stay there again.

This hotel was just different enough that it added to the great time we had in Nashville. For the traveler that usually stays in chain hotels this is a nice change of pace. It is close to downtown, zoo, and airport. Not a lot of kids running around. The only disappointment was the pool was out of commission during our entire stay.

No refrigerator in the room...no fan in the bathroom..the housekeeping was banging at the door at 8am trying to come in and clean. I told them we are still in here. They came back at 9am banging on the door again, mind you that check out isn't even until 11am Then how could you fall back asleep because all you heard from the maids was banging and booming outside the door. It literally sounded like someone was playing drums on the door. So might as well get up and get ready...so as we're packing up to get ready, on 3 more separate occasions before we left at 11 the housemaids were banging on the door Won't stay here again not worth the price

We were interrupted not once but twice by housekeeping before checkout time. Unfortunately this ruined our morning as we were trying to get some much-needed rest and relaxation for my husband's birthday. Front of house staff was really no help on the day we left, but I did talk to a manager later and she was very kind. Basically we felt like this was a boutique hotel with a lower end housekeeping staff that was ignoring our do not disturb sign, I guess to get their job done more quickly. I don't know if we will stay again.

Worst shower I've ever experienced. Toilet couldn't flush a single sheet of TP much less anything else. Bath tub backed up several inches of water. Sink faucet constantly dripped. No way to fill sink. Wasteful design. The room was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. Staff at desk very good. But poor bathroom really diminished things. Pool quite good.

The rooms are ok. The staff could be a little friendlier.

I love this place, but do wish there was a fridge and microwave in the room. It's a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind hotel with classy and cook decor. I'll be staying here again! :-)

Good experience, would come back & recommend to friends. ..need a microwave &refrigerator in the room. ..

i felt like it was lost in time. dinning experience at restaurant was wonderful because of the wait staff. food was marginal. maids were wonderful. room was clean - just the entire place seemed worn out. When you have faux fur on the walls of the elevators it will need to be changed out often. I know there was some construction going on but never knew what the construction was about.

Stayed here before and enjoyed the quirkiness of it. Sometimes restaurant service was slow in morning but staff was always friendly.

Was in town for work. Room was outdated and not as clean as I would have liked. The walls were so thin the folks next door kept me up all night. Not ideal at all for business travel. Tiny workout room with 3 old machines.

I am always up for an adventure and I stayed here for two nights. Didn't get any better. This was by far one of the oddest hotels I have stayed in. It is an older hotel with unusual features and smells. The elevator interior is lined with red/black guernsey print fur. Yep, fur. Ok. Next. The third floor hall smelled like stale beer. The corner rooms are strangely configured with a massive floor to ceiling mirror upon entry through double metal doors (kinda felt like was entering storage for housekeeping). Note that upon arrival I did ask for a quiet room, however in trying to sleep I clearly heard the band playing from the lounge. Oh, and when I woke up I saw several ladybugs on the walls and lamp. I'm ok with them, it's other bugs I don't like. Restaurant menu was peculiar. They had hamburgers at lunch, yet not on the dinner menu. The waiter did make an exception for me which I appreciated very much. Burger was charred on the outside and literally raw on the inside. I picked around the outside and did not complain as I appreciated his efforts. Again, I am always up for an adventure and this was definitely right up there!

Only 1 of 2 elevators worked, key cards continuously had to be rekeyed bc would deactivate and not be able to get into room, ladybugs were everywhere in the room, carpet was dirty had to wear socks, $100 was added to pending charges without authorization/explanation, continental breakfast is not included as advertised, everything on menu is overpriced both food and drink, staff acted as if they are used to people complaining... Not seeming at all surprised by our concerns.
