Great area and grounds are very nice. The unit itself had a leaky kitchen sink, filthy beige couch that we covered with a sheet. They gave us 4 small, thin unmatched towels for the beach. It had a dorm room feel. These are individually owned and we didn't get to slect where we would stay. Other units online looked better. People in the office were nice but it was hard to get a hold of them for a late check in. I had to leave a meeting in the morning to take a last minute call - they were supposed to text. Will not return back here because of the unit.

Location of unit was terrible, balcony view consists of looking right onto the balcony they use for events. Assigned covered parking was on the other side of building. Do not rent 209, this unit is in the corner of the building and right off the elevator so you can hear everytime someone was coming off on the 2nd floor.

The rooms smell very stale. When we let the guy at the front desk know that the rooms were smelly, he said that all of the rooms were booked. and then we asked again, he said that since we booked through a third party, even though the property was more than half empty, he could not give us another room. The plates/bowls had cracks in them. If you look at the utensils, they are all different sizes from different sets. There was just 1 pan for cooking The room did not seemed to be cleaned from whoever stayed previously. In the shower there was a half used bar of soap. This property is also not on the beach. The guy at the front desk explained that they let Orbitz know that additional details for this property but for some reason it is not being updated. (i don't know if i believe this since i have booked through Orbitz many times, i think they just wanted someone else to blame). The guy at the front desk is super lazy. I do not recommend staying at this property, it was a ripoff.
When we did the check in the guy at office would look down and would not even look at you to talk so finally I told him either speak louder or look at me when you talk to me The Apt was depressing nothing like the pictures posted on webpage. Would NOT recommend this place to anybody
The property was very convenient to the beach. A short walk. The pool was clean with plenty of chairs and grills for cooking out. The room we had was comfortable for two people.
The property was great it had a small kitchen for breakfast and lunch preparation, a lovely pool, and great access to the beach. It was very comfortable and in a great location to everything on Marco Island. It offered a reasonable rate and a variety of lengths of stay.
Observed black mold in closet and fungus in kitchen appliances. Also, bed was very uncomfortable. Room required you to take out your own trash along with several other rewuests. Would not visit hot again, not worth the money spent at all.

Clean and quiet stay. Marco Island is a very laid back island. The hotel fits right in! Everything perfect for us.

even though the hotel is situated on beautiful marco island, we found the room to be somewhat worn and weary. the couch was deplorable and looked like it came from a frat house. bathroom doors broken, and the bed was noisey and uncomfortable. building and grounds were quite nice however. maybe just unlucky.

Dear Nicole Gruber, On behalf of the Marco Beach Vacation Suites, we would like to apologize that you did not have a 5 star experience at our facility. Unfortunately, we are not able to assign specific units to each guest staying at our property in advance and it is luck of the draw in terms of which unit you will be staying in. They are all the same interior-wise, but the locations of the units will be different throughout the building. The specific unit you stayed in (unit 209) is next to the elevator and overlooks the pool. It is next to the balcony of the social room but still has a nice view overlooking the pool. All of the unit balconies face west so that they face the ocean. However, the buildings across the street make it so that you are unable to see the actual ocean or beach. You did not have to use your covered stall you could park your vehicle in any unassigned space as long as you registered your vehicle in our office if you felt that the designated space was not in a convenient location. We hope this helps to clarify our facility to guests looking to book our property in the future.

Dear Lina Sampat, On behalf of the Marco Beach Vacation Suites, we would like to sincerely apologize that your stay at our facility did not meet your expectations. Our staff, including the gentleman mentioned on your review, truly tried to go above and beyond for your stay. It is clear from the beginning that you were upset that our facility was not beachfront. We are not beachfront, as we had stated to you before your stay. We are across the street from the beach with a private beach access directly across the street. Nowhere do we make the claim or advertise that we are beachfront. As this is the height of season, we were unable to accommodate last minute requests. We did, however, offer an upgrade to our recently remodeled Executive Suites that you had declined. Our units are cleaned and checked by no less than two teams of staff to ensure they were cleaned properly and nothing was missed. Just to clarify to our future guests, we have small soaps, shampoos, etc that are to start the guest off for their stay. We always ensure that new sealed unused products are placed in the units for the guests upon check in. Guests are responsible to obtain additional supplies for the remainder of their stay, as these are vacation rental units and are privately owned. We do not have daily maid service, the units are cleaned prior to guest arrival and after guest departure. We do have upgraded executive suites room types that have been completely remodeled for a higher rate. We hope this provides some clarification for future guests looking to book at our property.

Maritza Fernandez, Our staff truly went above and beyond for your stay, accommodating every request you made within reason with a smile and friendly attitude despite you being extremely rude to all of our staff members and insisting on dictating how every one of our staff should act. We understand that we are here to serve you and we are always willing to go above and beyond for our guests, but you must understand that we are people too and deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. The unit you stayed in was a regular one bedroom suite, which is exactly like the pictures, but you were looking at pictures of our upgraded executive suites (the ones with the gray tile), which you did not want to pay the difference to upgrade to. We apologize for your negative experience and want our future guests to know that customer service is very important to us to ensure all of our guests enjoy their stay with us.
