Coming from the hustle and bustle of the city, this place was a pleasant relief. It was convenient to restaurants and stores. Close enough to freeways, but far enough that it was quiet. The kitchenette was a nice amenity to have.
My 14 yr old son and I stayed in a junior suite at the Marqueen for a week in June. We both loved the historic feel, creaky floors, old woodwork and huge windows. The history of the building was interesting, and the staff was outstanding - friendly and gracious. Our room was on the corner, and was ...
Hotel is the perfect location to stay while visiting Seattle. It is within walking distance of most places. We enjoyed the theater, good places to eat and great shoppiing. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again.
We needed a nice, affordable hotel in central Seattle for a few days and the Mediterranean fit the bill. Didn't realize we'd be charged for parking, but its not surprising as parking anywhere in Seattle is both difficult to find and expensive. Enjoyed the ice water and coffee available in the lobby ...
All the staff was efficient and helpful. I really appreciated the front desk finding we aneed available room when I found myself needing to check-in before 11 am. And I wish I could tell you the young man's name who handled my vallet parking. Since I wasn't sure I could actually check in so early, ...

The hotel was within walking distance to the theater and sightseeing. The restaurant was being remodeled and that was the only problem, not any good places to eat nearby
My husband and I spent Friday through Sunday in Seattle for site seeing and a show at The Moore Theater. After looking at the pros and cons of MANY hotels in the belltown/downtown area we chose The Residence Inn. It had the best price, amenities, and was in the area we were looking for. Plus, the final deciding factor for us was the Marriott name. We were not disappointed. The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were comfortable and quiet with a great city view. The staff was nothing short of fantastic in all areas. Great breakfast, too! We will absolutely choose The Residence Inn by Marriott every time we need a place to stay in Seattle.
