Seattle, Washington

Seattle is located between Puget Sound and Lake Washington. The city was named after a Duwamish Indian leader named Sealth, who befriended area settlers and offered a helping hand. The local economy has seen many ups and downs, but the city has always recovered and is now known for its art, theater and technology firms.
