Very long check in. Staff not very responsive to concerns (we had someone just walk into our room, staff said they would check with security to make sure it was an authorized key and get back to us but no one ever did and the lines we couldn't get back a hold of anyone for an answer). Had problems with toilet no flushing and eventually flooding the bathroom... someone came to "fix" it, but housekeeping NEVER came by to cleanup the mess. THANK GOD, this was a few hours before we checked out.

Great location, clean and plenty of room. Parking is for smaller cars only but was available.
We spent 4 days in Montreal, and I ended up with the flu for 3 of these days. It sucked, but the Boxotel was probably the best place to recover! the B&B was exactly as described, clean pretty, Denis the owner could not have been nicer. I would recommend to anyone going to Montreal to look at this place first, I loved staying there and I will stay again next time I go to Montreal
