the hotel is readily accessible by train. a quick train ride takes you downtown barcelona. the fact that the last train that will take you to hotel leaves sometime before midnight limits experiencing night life in barcelona. other than that, excellent hotel. nice room, good service, pool on roof ...
Hotel Colon is really a great hotel! Location couldn't be better and the staff is amazing. The rooftop lounge is amazing and so is the outside terrace for great food and drink. We ate at the restaurant a few times and it was delicious. We were very happy with our room, there were three of us and ...
The hotel was very clean and had an amazing rain shower. The location was a bit far from the city center but close to the train station (15 min transportation). Drinks in the mini bar are free and updated daily. The only issue was I asked for water downstairs as we checked out and I was told that ...
Nice place to stay. Would go back. The bathroom was spacious and nice, but the jets in the soaking tub do not work. The rooms were not insulated very well, though, and it was noisy depending where who was in the rooms next to you.
We stayed here one night before our cruise and one night after our cruise. Excellent staff and great roof top bar. We were also upgraded to the Opera Suite on our night after our cruise what a great way to end our trip.
The staff was very helpful, suggesting good restaurants and giving directions. The rooms was clean albeit small. Beds and pillows were good. They offer breakfast that looked great but very expensive at 14 euros. That was the cost of a good dinner elsewhere. The metro is a block away and you can walk ...
It was good in every way room was clean and comfortable. Staff was nice. They called and asked if all was good we told them the overhead light was not working and we wanted 2 extra pillows but that never happened. The only negative I can mention.
very clean hotel room, easy to find very near the Christopher Columbus statue near the end of La Rambla, very helpful staff. I asked about a restaurant recommended by the taxi driver, the front desk person validated it was a good restaurant and immediately offered to call to make dinner reservations for me. The restaurant was excellent too!
The hotel does not have to be perfect. I judge my experience a lot by the way I was treated by the staff. The staff here was tops!!! Outstanding, friendly, helpful, polite, patient with my limited Spanish etc.
Big apartment with a kitchen; clean, close to the airport. They have relatively affordable parking available as well. Great place overall.
Elegance within walking distance of most of the places we ate. The best shower I have ever had.
