it would be better to get offers with checked bags, having to pay extra for them is not good.

Fly from Miami to Barcelona

Although Miami has its own thriving Latino culture, there's nothing like visiting Spain to experience where it all began. Architectural wonders like La Sagrada Familia, delicious traditions like dunking churros into warm chocolate or lazy days sunning oneself on Barceloneta Beach are interspersed with lively Catalan culture in this Mediterranean city. The Metrorail and Tri-Rail have shuttle service from the station to Miami International Airport (MIA), or travelers can drive there directly via taxi or car. It takes around nine hours of travel time to fly from Miami to Barcelona.

Barcelona's beach culture is a big draw and visitors can walk for miles along the boardwalk, but the city also has historic sights to see, such as the Roman Temple of Augustus, the Barri Gotic or Santa Maria Del Pi. Sweeping views of the city can be had via the Montjuic cable car.

Hints and tips

While Madrid serves as a major hub, visitors can fly directly to Barcelona via Barcelona El Prat Airport (BCN). Temperatures can climb into the 80s during the summer months while winter days hover around 50 degrees. There's a parade, the Cavalcada de Reis, on January 5th each year. Various festivals grace the summer months, such as the Revetlla de Sant Joan in June or the Festes de Gracia in August.
