Location was perfect for getting around to all the different sites. Breakfast was amazing. However, they do have construction going on and it is noisy. They start at 8am! They reluctantly gave us another room but since the floors are tile, it is pretty much noisy all over. But beautiful decor and loved the square right outside the front doo!
Perfect location! Rooms were clean, staff great. Windows shut out noise from square outside. Roof top view is awesome. We walked to everything.
The staff of the Hotel Colon were wonderful & helpful. The hotel location is just a short walk to Barcelona Cathedral, restaurants and stores. The breakfast buffet was really good and had a lot of food selections. The room we had was very clean and spacious. We will definitely stay at Hotel Colon again when we visit Barcelona in the future.

Wonderful updated property in the same square as the Barcelona cathedral. Cute little restaurant with outdoor dining option with a great view of the cathedral and all that is happening in the square.

Great location in Gothic quarter, the hotel is nice the staff is nice the pool is the size of a kiddie pool. The rooftop bar is probably the best we found!
Our shower did not drain properly causing water to rise up half way to the knee while showering. Mentioned it to the hotel staff and they told us that it was fine the way it was.

I would highly recommend this hotel to friends. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, food was excellent and hotel was beautiful and in a great location. Next to great cathedral, shops, but still quiet. Breakfast buffet and food were excellent. Rooftop bar and food. Close to hop on and off bus routes.
A classy and welcoming hotel, with friendly and very helpful staff. We loved the proximity to the Cathedral and the plaza. Rooms are large with plenty of space for clothes. The hotel housekeeping was wonderful. Mattresses are quite firm, which can feel a bit uncomfortable when you’re on a twin bed,
