It feels a lot like staying in a college dorm room, with people constantly coming in and out. The bathroom also has a very dorm-like feel. On the positive side, the location is convenient. Close to shopping, restaurants, and the train station. The staff members are friendly and helpful, which made the stay a bit better. One issue is the shower is push to start and last about 3 mins.

When I got there it was quite late, around 2200hrs. They didn't have my reservation in their system but they did manage to get me into a room and provided complimentary breakfast to make up for it, which was very nice! The location is great - essentially next to the metro and La Rambla, everything you need is there. Showers are in a shared shower room with individual stalls. The showers run on a timer, so you have to either hold the button down or restart the water every 10 seconds. The shower stalls are also quite small, so it's tough to bring things in to change into after. The bathrooms are also shared bathrooms down the hall from the room, annoying if you have a top bunk and need to pee in the middle of the night, but tolerable enough. In the mornings, the facilities are clean and ready for a new day. However, by around 1900hrs, it just smells like actual human poop everywhere on the floor except for your room. Unfortunately, the person sleeping below me brought a guest for some "adult time" on my last night here and it was frustrating as the bed shook. This is 100% a party hostel. If you're looking for a place to come back and relax for the evening, this is not the hostel for you. If you're looking to socialize and go out to the clubs, they have good events that encourage everyone to interact with each other. Personally, I won't be returning to a St. Christopher's hostel, but if you're in your early - mid 20's and want to party, this is the place for you!

Nice facility. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful-thank you! Property was constantly being cleaned. Problems were the door to the room was very loud when opening and closing. The 4th floor was very hot at night. Also, People sharing the room and being inconsiderate, listening to music, talking on the phone while others try to sleep.

Very central location, super clean, cleaners clean bathroom/toilet areas several times a day. If you’re a light sleeper, maybe this won’t be the best choice for you as it is a shared space and people come and go. I felt safe.
