Great Hotel although a little out. It is very close to Sants Station - there is a direct line from the Airport - Terminal 2 ( 5 min shuttle from Terminal 1 ) around 4 euro or buy a travel card. You can also purchase a 10 euro travel ticket with 10 trips which 2 people can use, so easy to get anywhere in the City. Found the Metro very easy to use. Breakfast was excellent, had everything Full English & Continental, Kids Buffet, Cakes & even CAVA !! if you feel inclined. A small pool, not deep. good for small children or just to cool down, coffee in rooms. Friendly Staff & great food. Lovely terrace to chill after a night out. For the money you could not fault it, I believe it is undergoing a refurb.

Spent a week at this hotel mid May in comfortable room at rear of hotel on 7th floor, away from traffic noise! Breakfast buffet was superb with plenty of choice in all categories - fresh fruit, yoghurts, cakes and pastries, cheese and cold meats and cooked English breakfast. A short walk takes you to Saints Metro station and the bus station behind where the hop on hop off buses stop. Staff friendly and very helpful. Good supermarket next door. Highly recommend this hotel

Enjoyed a 4 day stay here. Staff very helpful. Rooms very comfortable. Breakfast was great really set us up for the day. Location good for us. Used metro 5 minute walk away. Tip buy 10 ride ticket it did our entire stay. Really easy to get around. Definitely hope to return.

This hotel is generally pretty decent. The location is good, and close to some very nice parts of the city. The design is modern but not too modern and the appointments (bedding, decor, etc.) are pretty good. But there are a few negatives. I don't know about the entire hotel, but I was in two rooms (see below) and both were VERY small. The main area was just slightly larger than the queen sized bed, with about a foot free on one side and two feet on the other. If I wanted to get to the second nightstand (they are very small, so I needed both), I had to walk sideways and shuffle to get to it. There was no space to put luggage up, so it stayed on the floor. As other reviews pointed out, the bathroom was very oddly shaped, so it was hard to get into and out of the shower and virtually impossible to shower without getting a lot of water on the floor. Maintenance is where things really fall apart. My first night in the first room was fine. The second night the A/C was not working. I was in a large tour group and several couples mentioned A/C issues so it was not unique to me. When I reported it at the front desk, I was told that it could not be repaired because the maintenance people go home at 9pm. This is a moderately large hotel, but they do not have 24 hour maintenance. So I asked what I should do and she said they could send up a fan. Since the room was already warm, I explained that would not accomplish anything. She said it would cool it down. I didn't have time or patience to explain thermodynamics to her, so I asked if I could have a new room. She said OK and gave me a second key so I could move my things into the new room. This started a comedy of errors in which I had to go back 3 times because one time I could open the new room but not the old one and the second time I could not open either room. Nobody was available to help, so I was dragging my stuff around the hotel at about 10:30pm. Finally I got into my small, but cool, second room. The third night was fine, except for some family having a very loud argument at 3am, but I can't blame that on the hotel. Breakfast is pretty decent at this hotel, pretty much the same continental buffet you can expect at most decent Spanish hotels. Good variety of pastries. Overall I think this hotel is OK, but make sure your A/C is working and insist on a new room if it isn't. You won't get it fixed after 9pm.

My husbands company booked us in here as he had a conference to attend later in the day. We are happy to say the hotel looked after us well and all our needs and even wants were looked after. Happy and relaxing stay.

Spent a couple of nights in hotel prior to picking up our cruise ship. Room was nice and clean. I found the staff very helpful especially reception. The accommodation was room only so did not eat in the hotel however we did look at the menu which was very bland and disappointing. The other down side was the location. Although the hotel was close to the station giving easy access to the attractions there was a distinct lack of decent bars and restaurants near by. We did find a couple of coffee shops for breakfast but other than that we're unable to locate many places for an evening meal unless you wanted pizza.

It's a hotel with a look a little bit old and outdated, but appart from that it's ok. Nice breakfast, good beds, nice shower. I think the only two down's I had were the refrigerator not being able to cool the drinks and the ladies that for some days were cleaning the room (I stayed there for 3 weeks) sometimes left "balls of dust" in the room. The cleaner must had a problem with the filter or something, I don't know. But was really awful arriving "home" an having so many dust that weren't there in the morning :\

Not a 4* hotel, expensive, €160/170 per night, breakfast €15 extra per person. Hotel and room clean and nicely decorated throughout, although room was very small. Ineffective/non-existent air conditioning in room (staff said this was due to refurbishments). LACK OF EFFECTIVE A/C IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR A HOTEL AT THIS PRICE IN MAY! Noisy location, too noisy to sleep with window open (to cool things down in night because of poor air conditioning). Poorly thought-out bathroom - shower just a hose off mixer tap, awkward shower screen arrangement, leaking screen causing slippery floor, no shelf to put shower gel/shampoo etc when showering, not enough hot water. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment, pool area being varnished, I got decking stain on my shorts, staff were not interested at all. Lift very slow. On the plus side, the reception staff were helpful with internet & printing, and with travel directions. The hotel was close to Sants station - good for catching train.

Just returned from a short break in Barcelona and stayed at H10 Itaca. This is definitely not 4*. It is close to the metro but nothing of interest near by. Staff were dismissive and somewhat rude. The hotel pool was undergoing work, deck sanding and painting which meant it was out of use and no mention was made of this inconvenience. The pool is overlooked on all sides by apartment blocks. The barman made everyone leave the outside area by 11pm as the bar was closed. Rooms were in need of updating, shower slow and varied temperature. The rooms at the back of the hotel overlooking the pool were noisy as they have private functions there some evenings. Food in hotel restaurant Bamboo was limited and bland. Breakfast was ok but again staff miserable. Definitely choose somewhere else nearer to the city and hope for more curtious staff 😞

Hotel is by Sants train station, easy to get to anywhere in Barcelona, including airport. Hotel had all amenities you expect, big room, working heat/AC, coffee maker, iron board, safe, toiletries, bidet and hair dryer in the bathroom. The bed was way too hard for me. The lobby was nice, had a good terrace with a shallow pool in the back. So in theory I should not complain about things. I do not know why getting a room in the un-renovated floor bother me; maybe the blinds hold in place with duct tape, maybe the wood surfaces that were chipped, maybe the mould in the shower. That's why I cannot give it 5 stars rating.
