Location was perfect room and food was great. However. Needed to ask for items several times. Should have been obvious, looking for a plug to charge phone at check out. Only 2 towels provided for 2 people. Uncomfortable doubling up towel use Busy bathroom, ,clear shower door was awful. Mirror interfered with hand soap. Food was expansive at breakfast. Evening meal was just what we needed. Light bite

Hotel felt a little run down to be honest. It was clean enough, but just tired. Also they seemed a little short staffed in the Lobby. The bar was often unattended and you had to wait. Best part of the stay was breakfast where there was excellent variety.

For a ‘basic single room’, i was super pleased. Double bed and could have slept 2. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Quiet side of the building. Slept like a lamb. Appreciated all the little touches - bar fridge, iron and board, toiletries supplied, coffee/tea station, even a usb outlet for charging and a little footrest/stool for seating. One piece of feedback would be to write a little instruction in the room, or provide that info at check-in, re: how the lights work. Could not figure it out, and it turns out you need to put your room card in a little box to activate the lights. Great idea though for eco-conscious travelling so I support that. Can’t leave lights on when you leave, since you need to take your room key with you.
