Unfortunately didn’t receive the member benefit as an Expedia VIP, but it’s ok. The room had a problem with the air conditioner, which made a really loud noise when I turned it on. I told them about this and they said that maintenance would come. Maintenance came and only turned the air conditioning down? Then I called again later on… I left the room and they said maintenance would come again, but the issue never resolved. The walls would shake because of this problem. For the money, I would’ve expected them to move rooms but they said the category wasn’t available. A small upgrade for the trouble would’ve been polite…

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with my various needs that arose during my stay. Additionally, the hotel was beautiful with a view of the square from my room and the amazing rooftop pool. Whenever I make my return to Barcelona, I will be staying here again.
