The hotel was great and the staff were extremely friendly. Location was amazing and great restaurants near by.
However, when I came to check in - I was told that I was moved to another hotel (another H10) around 15 min away because they had over booked.
I refused to move and informed them that my employees were staying here and that I had already paid for the hotel 2 months ago. They suggested they move all my employees as well! I refused and they ended up letting keep our reservation and move others that reserved later.
I don't understand how in this day and age - that an establishment can not only accept full payment from clients on an overbooked hotel. This practice is unacceptable and Expedia (as well as H10 Cubik) will have to answer to this. I appreciate that the hotel accommodated me (I did pay 2 months prior) - but this is not right. People choose hotels based on price, location and convenience - and to be told that you're being moved cause they over booked is really unacceptable. Like I said, great hotel and I would stay there again...but beware as this appears to be common practice for them. @Expedia - I'd love to know what your thoughts on this practice and how you permit it.
