Stayed here for business only one night. Typical European hotel, small. I had the room to myself so the exposed shower was not an issue. There really isn't an enclosed bathroom. The toilet does have a door but the shower is quite exposed. Breakfast was quite nice and the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming.
It’s for a business trip, when I entered the room, I have a smile on my face, they have some sweets and a espresso machine. The people working there are friendly and helpful. I would like to go back to this hotel for my private trip next time.
We are just back from our holiday in Spain and we loved it ! Especially Barcelone was amazing and our stay was made even more memorable and beautiful due to our great experience at the AC Hotel Sants. First of all, we were thrilled with the proximity to the train station when we reached Barcelona. We were about to take a taxi and they pointed to the hotel which was just opposite !! Later we got a room upgrade for our Marriot platinum card with other features added to make it more attractive for us. We especially thank Gemma at the reception who was so very helpful to give us all the information to go around the city and other information. Our stay at this hotel was a silver lining to our stay at Barcelone. Thanks a lot AC Sants !!
I had to use the train couple times and this was the perfect location. It is my second visit and this place was better than las time. From checkin Paula was amazing and welcoming. It was a perfect stay for me. Walking distance to the station and the price made it an awesome stay for me.
We used Marriott points to book a 4-night stay here at the end of a month in Spain. The outstanding feature of this hotel is its location, literally a two-minute walk to the Sants (main) Barcelona train station. We arrived by AVE (high-speed) train and used the Metro to go to several major attractions in the city. Nothing was ever more than 10-15 minutes away. The hop-on/hop-off tour busses also stop here, and taxis are abundant. There is a train to the airport, but we left too early to use it. The hotel itself is clean and adequate. The bed was a little harder than we are used to, but that seems to be the case throughout Europe. The staff was helpful when asked, and we really didn’t use other hotel services. The neighborhood near the hotel has some decent bars and restaurants.
Just got back from a 5 day stay with my family. The hotel delivers exactly as promised; very clean, friendly & attentive staff, decent breakfast. I had read some other reviews from other travelers regarding some issues but I think you have to be honest with yourself when you book this hotel; the value for money is very good considering their rates. Otherwise go ahead and book a far more expensive hotel.
This was a good boutique hotel and very convenient to public transport options - two metro stations and busses very close by. There is a free breakfast for all guests which was quite good. The rooms were good for the price, very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
If you walk out the back door of the train station, the hotel is on your left about half a block away. The room has enough space but the bathroom area is designed like almost a part of the bed area. Very open. Toilet is separate and is like a small closet. Rest of bathroom area is closed off by a mirror that slides. It is not a separate room. The front desk need two people working at all times. Saw lines waiting to check in or ask questions. 90% of the time there was only one person at the desk. No concierge and no computer to use if you needed one. They did print off passes for me at the front desk though. Very helpful and friendly.
theroom was very clen, great internet... all in all for 2 days I have spent there its very good. Lots of things around and minutes away from train station and metro. ood for connection to airport about 30 minutes by taxi..
We needed to catch an early morning train ride out of the Sants station and wanted to stay nearby to reduce travel time. The hotel is a two minute walk from the train station so it was a great fit for us from that perspective. We found our room to be comfortable and clean. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful at check in. Breakfast was included in our reservation. We were told breakfast opened at 7:00AM. When when we arrived at 7:05AM, the buffet had been set out but all the lights in the dining room were still off and no one was around to provide coffee. As other reviewers have mentioned, it's not a category 6 caliber Marriott property, but it's clean and convenient if you are looking for easy access to the station.
