One of the BEST hotel stays I’ve had. I travel overseas often and prefer more boutique/unique hotels to stay at versus the standard cookie-cutter holiday inn. Monument Hotel is worthy of a five-star rating. First off, I had a horrible flight with Vueling that was delayed for 3 hours and I didn’t arrive to the hotel until 2:30am. I was extremely tired and irritable. The moment my taxi drove up to the hotel, the hotel porter/staff member came outside immediately to take my bags and greet me, saying they had been anticipating my arrival. Immediately, I felt so much better from the flight delays! I was shown my room, had the amenities explained, and the staff left quickly to let me rest as soon as possible. I felt like the service was always genuine and professional. + Room: BEAUTIFUL. Clean, spacious, great light. I had to double check my booking to see if I had the right room. Great taste in design - modern but cozy. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. I had a terrace for both my room and bathroom - great for people watching and getting fresh air. Bathroom was luxurious - a huge tub and one of the fanciest showers I’ve ever had. It has buttons(!!!) to turn the shower on and off. I showed my friends and they were so amazed! Great amenities, iron (which I appreciate because I usually bring my portable steamer but left it due to trying to pack light), free snacks and drinks in minibar (excluding alcohol). + Services: you can order different baths to be made
