Very good
the tissue paper used in my bathroom smelt like vomit. Thats how sickness is spread. Never had that happen to me before
We like : friendly staff, close to Camp Nou, clean We did not like: Nescafe instant coffee in the room
Hotel was nice. Staff was nice, bathroom door a little dirty But rest was clean, bed comfortable
Wonderful staff. They truly care about you and want you to feel as comfortable as possible. Great hospitality and the breakfast buffet was amazing. Exceeded all my expectations. I would definitely return.
Melía was convenient for our final night in Madrid. Staff was very nice, room could use some updating. No wash/face cloths in the entire hotel, which was a problem. Also, mold in shower head-needs to be replaced. Mattress was a little hard, no duvet. On the positive side, location is good, free wifi is helpful, and easy access to taxi/transportation. Adequate for one night.
the location is amazing from few steps you can get a hip on hip of bus and there are many restaurants ,one convenience store and a huge avenue with a beautiful view, to walk and have some fun
The hotel was very luxurious. The location is very good but not ideal. The staff is awesome. The experience is great. Would definitely go back, we really enjoyed our vacation.
The Melia is supposedly a 5-star hotel, but really looks and functions like a 3-star at best. It's primary customers are tour operators. While the staff try hard to please customers, it is not enough to overcome the facility shortfall.
great hotel. location is near Diagonal Avenue which crosses Barcelona east to west beautifully the bell boys are outstanding and clever
Okay hotel for the price. Breakfast is not as good as some of the reviews posted and not worth $20 per day per person that we paid. No where to get breakfast in area of hotel so opt for the hotel breakfast or be prepared to travel out of neighborhood for morning meal. Far away from sights and activities but only about 7-10 minute walk to Hospital Clinic metro station and then a sho very short ride to La Rambla and marina area. We walked from hotel to La Rambla one morning. Took about 30 minutes to get there and is worth the stroll to admire the neighborhoods and architecture. Nice staff. Room was small but comfortable. Safe area! Hotel is not child friendly. Guests tended to be older couples. Hotel had nice lounge with and free wifi throughout hotel was great.
Room was clean although very dark. Hardly anywhere to store your clothes and suitcases. Front desk personnel were very helpful.
Great breakfast, but room is very old. In the room when we arrived, there were no cosmetics, sleepers, and there was only one bathrobe. Also safe was broken and the broken mirror in the bathroom.
Did lots of walking. This hotel is in a great area that can take you to a central location of great shopping and great architecture.
