Recently spent 5 nights at the Hilton for a business meeting. The hotel is located a couple of miles from the main part of town but the area is nice and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is a pretty standard Hilton - for Europe the rooms are good sized. Rooms are also clean and the staff is quite nice. Nothing special but a nice business hotel which is very consistent.
Terrible service, bad location no amenities. Staff was rude! Don't stay there go down the road to the Marriot if staying in the area! Room was not cleaned before 5:00 complained twice but was told this is standard no apologizes given.
Staff was quite helpful with all questions about the city, attractions, and tours. Quite hotel, and got a good nights sleep in a nicely appointed room. My wife especially liked the mirror in the bathroom and the overhead shower.
Just magnifecent. From the arrival to the leaving of the hotel. Great level of service, nice and polyed staff, comfortable rooms and nice managers. I will deffinytly come here again and bring not only my family but my friends..
The rooms were clean and the hotel was nice. It could have been a Hilton anywhere. The downside would be that it was not in a convenient location to visit the sights of Barcelona. They also will not honor you HHonors status.
My partner and I stayed at the Hilton Barcelona for one night at the end of a cruise in September 2017. We arrived at the hotel at approximately 9:00 AM and were pleasantly surprised to find the room ready for us. We had room 1025 which was clean, neat and contemporary. The bathroom was particularly nice with a huge walk-in shower and bidet. As a Hilton Honors member we also received complimentary breakfast buffet served in the Mosaic restaurant on the first floor. The buffet had a plethora of choices and everything we had was tasty and fresh. All of the staff who we interacted with were helpful and friendly. The location seems to be in a more business area rather than a tourist area, but the metro was just a short walk away. While we were only there for one night, we truly enjoyed our stay.
I stayed here for a week while managing a meeting, which I also held at the hotel. Overall it was a great experience. My guest room was spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, the lighting in the bathroom was adequate, the towels were big and absorbent, and the internet was fast. They also did a nice job hosting my meeting, and their event staff was friendly and pro-active.
From the moment we arrived we were welcomed home. Check in was a breeze, all of the staff we met were personable like we already knew them. Room is perfect, 5th floor 511, beautifully prepared, comfort level excellent. Food and drinks in the bar were of an excellent standard, we were looked after by Toni for all 3 nights and he ensured that we were comfortable and content with our food and beverage choices. His service was attentive and prompt. He went above and beyond anything we have experienced before. Phillipe and Max looked after our drinks and made them and served them to a standard Hilton should be proud of. The staff in the club lounge were warm and welcoming, continuing the theme of welcome home. It is really difficult to score are stay, but we are very happy and will be back.
Due to Irma, my flight back to Miami cancelled so my husband got my friend and I a room at this Hilton. What a wonderfully clean property in a great locale...lots of cafes around, a world-class mall and a Starbucks :). Very nice walking streets, tree-lined and wide. Away from the hustle and bustle of Las Ramblas and all those tiny bisecting streets. If you are looking for a quieter stay in Barcelona, I think you'll love this Hilton.
Stayed here for 1 night as a stop over. Good location for the Nou Camp, if your interested in football, and also the metro into downtown. Found the staff very friendly, although I did witness one member of staff being very short and rude to a Japanese family. I was quiet tried from my travelling so stayed in the hotel that night and ordered a club sandwich and a beer, room service forgot my beer and the hotel charged €7 tray charge so €25 for a sandwich !! Room numbering is weird odd numbers one side of the hotel even number the other i.e not in the same corridor.
