Most of the staff was exceptional and very helpful. Our requested room was not available at check in but it was soon fixed. One pool bar manager was very unfriendly on Sunday. Seemed like alot of the staff was stressed out because of having to get ready for the Sunday evening party. Flavio and Aaron (bartenders) were super friendly and very helpful.

Fabulous location friendly bar service friendly service front desk and room service great tapas

I am 62 years of age This was one of the nicest Hotrls that is have ever stayed in

My room was amazing. The view was fantastic. Nice Staff. Nice pool. Nice restaurants.

The room was just what we wanted-- It was a corner suite so there was plenty of room and the views were amazing. The rain shower was huge and the bed was comfortable. There were electric black out curtains so the beautiful sunrise view was an option.

Fabulous place to visit . Great hotel / food / art. Easy to get around city. People friendly . Felt safe .

The hotel is great with Great outdoor area just at the beach. The hotel has a high partyfactor and is loud and noicy. Upon check-in we did not receive the desired room, the room-key did not work and the staff had to lock us in using the madter key, and the service at the reception was so-so. Upon receiving our the requested room with a magnificent view the next day, our stay was nice.

Room check in delayed by three hours. "Upgraded" to the same suite I (way over-) paid for ($900!!). Given a fourth floor room with view of the driveway. Deluxe!! Furniture in room was IKEA quality except broken. Light switches have skin grease stains on them. Yuckity yuck yuck yuck. On a positive note, it's right next to the use beach, if you want your kids to see some quality 80year-old Barcelonian gentlemen.

Incredible gym, room, and overall hotel. Nice location as well despite Barcelona being spread out. Food was a but pricey and disappointing though

The only great thing about this hotel is the location. It's is perfectly located on the beach and within an area walking distance of local eating establishments. Depending on ones health this hotel is also within walking distance of Barcelona's main attraction (the zoo, Sagrada Familia, etc) and the metro. That's the only good thing about this hotel. If you decide to stay at this hotel be prepared to pay for the air you breathe; for the price of the rooms you don't get anything free as you would at what one would call a normal hotel. No free breakfast, wifi, you can't even go to the 26 floor to the Eclipse bar/club as a guest of the hotel without being dressed to the Tee. I've been to quite a few hotel but this hotel has the worst check-in process ever. They do not offer early check-in so be prepared to wait at least two hours after the normal check-in time (3:00pm). The hotel rooms are nice but if you have allergies make sure you bring your medicine because the rooms are really dusty.

We had just spent 4 days in London, then 5 days in Paris, and Barcelona was our last leg of the journey for 4 nights, and couldnt have been more pleased with our stay at the W in Barcelona. Do to the location we had to cab everywhere, but the view from the room was spectacular of the city and beach. Floor to ceiling windows. The stay was quiet at night, and the pool bar area was fun.....we also enjoyed the Bliss Spa.

In my opinion this W, strikes the perfect equilibrium for anyone. There were newlyweds, families with little ones, business travelers, and all seemed to be pretty happy. The perfect location makes it easy to reach popular landmarks, yet shelters you from the crowd. The rooms are adorned with spectacular viiew and expensive furnishing. Eclipse bar offers excellent choice of music and well mixed drinks. Perhaps it all compensates for shortcomings in whenever whatever service. Freindliness aside they could be helpful. The idea is great, the execution is poor

Had an unbelievable experience until the last day! Bar upstairs was great. Stephen made great drinks. On the last day I went through my personal belongings to realize that I was robbed by house keeping for one thousand dollars. My money was hidden extremely well which means that my personal stuff was rummaged through. Not something that you exoect from a star wood property. When I told the manager her response was less them comforting. I was basically told there was nothing that they could do. I expected more from an SPG property especially being an SPG member.

Amazing place, greate food, will visit next time same hotel

Everything about the W Barcelona was beyond fantastic...... Truly, the best customer service ever. From the courteous and knowledgeable front staff to the servers, house keeping, concierge, everything was great. Hotel provided great security. Would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants piece of mind and a great time. The WET Terrace to Eclipse to BRAVO restaurant .... I plan on staying at this hotel on all my upcoming trips

GREAT ROOM...FABULOUS BED!!
