Barcelona Airport Hotel

Your hotel advises that wifi is available in common areas and in the rooms. However, this is not true. Not only did your wifi not work in the rooms but there was no coverage in the common areas (restaurant and front desk areas). This is completely unacceptable. I selected your hotel since you offered shuttle service to the airport. A second major issue is wifi. I had to rely on a friend who was traveling with me for sharing his wifi via his iPhone. I will be sending an email to the Orbitz management team about this upon my return to the USA. Peter

Stay here if you are flying. Too far away from the city to be a holiday hotel.

After a driving tour of Spain, we need to return a rental car and catch an early flight. The hotel has a free shuttle to/from the aiport, so we were able to retrun our rental car at the airport and catch the shuttle back to the hotel. Then, early the next morning we were able to catch the shuttle to the airport.

A fine hotel, close to the airport, with reliable shuttle service, at a reasonable price

This hotel is conveniently located with a shuttle to the airport. We expected a continental breakfast which was not included. Breakfast would have cost $20 Euros each. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Check-in process was quick and easy. The staff is very nice. I stayed in a Triple Deluxe Room. One king bed with a twin bed rolled into the room; still plenty of room. The service in the restaurant is a bit slow but the food was very good. The pool was well maintained. Shuttles ran often.

Nice hotel, nice pool, good restaurant. Nice place to stay before a long flight back to Denver.

The room was in desperate need of painting. It was disappointing that the nearest restaurant was in the hotel which was extremely overpriced. Hard to do anything in that side of town - no shopping no restaurants

I would not recommend booking this hotel if you don't need to absolutely stay by the airport. First, if you take a cab to the hotel, they charge you extra 20euros just for the arrival in the hotel by a taxi. It is like a mafia. We took a cab from the airport to the hotel which is a 3-5min ride and paid as much as if we were riding from the center of Barcelona! Second, the reception guy was not nice at all. When we came he was on the phone for a long time and didn't even pay attention to us. The next customer came and when he hung up the phone he started checking him in. Third, the room didn't have a hair conditioner. You'd need to bring your own. I know it is a small detail but a very annoying one. When you pay a lot for the room, you kinda expect simple comfort. In sum, if you have time to travel from Barcelona to the airport, reserve a room in the city. The city has tons of great hotels for the same money or less.

Had to ask to remove extra bed from the room, nothing to watch in tv, poor breakfast, problem with room safe. Good transfer from and to the airport and to the city.

Good rooms. Nothing else of interest nearby. Close to public bus to Espana #65. Airport shuttle gets crowded early. Still happy

Hotel had a great King size bed and clean, large rooms. Dining was available on site and shuttles to the Airport, City Center or the Port. The only thing that would have made our stay more enjoyable was either to have a store on site for sundry items or a full vending machine. We recommend this hotel for business and pleasure travelers.

The hotel itself is nice, comfortable and clean. The restaurant staff were helpful and accommodating..I found the man that I checked in with at the front desk to be snarky and not very helpful, but the woman that I spoke to when arranging my shuttle into the city was pleasant and helpful. The wifi worked well and the hotel while not the Hisperia is very nice and it's futuristic feel is cozy. There is even a shuttle from the cruise port which I would have used if I'd known ahead of time. Save yourself €25 and take the shuttle and skip the cab.

I would put 5 stars if the AC work and they try to fix it instead they just say if it doesn't turn on in 5 min then it doesn't work. We like okay. And we order room service and nobody answer the phone and take forever to deliver. Other than than i love everything else. The price is perfect and they have shuttle to la rambla with a fee and free to airport off course. Would totally still recommended and go back !

Great location with a handy shuttle to port and/or downtown in addditoon to their around the clock airport shuttle.

Barely an OK experience. Would not stay here again

This hotel is very new, very clean and provides free shuttle to Barcelona Airport. Front desk staff very professional and helpful. The rooms are very nice. Beds are super comfortable. I would definitely stay again if needed to.

Travel in October. Very convenient free shuttle from and to airport but need to wait earlier if too many people want to take at the same time. Far from city center and need take either Metro or bus, both about an hour. Good breakfast but a little bid high in price. The dinner we had one night was very nice and price is fare compare to in city. It's another thing we enjoy in this hotel. However, the room is not very good in condition. I saw ladies worked hard in cleaning the room but just don't know how. Managers need to teach them how.

Stayed this hotel for 4 nights, 2 at beginning of the trip and 2 after trip. Good is their shuttle from and to BCN is very convenient. If go to Barcelona, you may either take bus, just the other side of the turnabout, or Metro, about 10 minutes slow walk south. Others, it might not be a 4-star hotel you thought.

This hotel looks like a modern new hotel but we found the room to be very poorly cleaned. There were stains on the floors, sink, and bed. It's only virtue is that you can get to the airport by shuttle for free. There are no convenient places to shop. As a tourist I found the only 2 places to eat not tourist friendly.
