I only needed the room for a couple hours. The 3rd shift receptionist was truly amazing and easy to work with. The room needed some updating. The bathroom was not cleaned and could use a paint job. The ceiling in the room was peeling a lot. My kids were afraid to sleep thinking something was going to crawl out. The curtains were very dirty and the floors could use a shampoo.

Was told this hotel had breakfast available but it stopped the days after the RNC. Beautiful cafe area advertising Lates, etc but it was not operating. A major disappointment. 😟 The caulking around the tub was in terrible shape. 🙁 The lock on the door closest to our room did not work and had to use a different door. Very inconvenient, especially for unloading and loading. The television kept cutting in and out. The carpeting needs to be replaced. If these things were addressed, it could be a very nice hotel. Nice staff.

The the carpeting was very much in need of cleaning throughout the hotel. I expected better from a Brookfield Hotel. The stay was supposed to include a continental breakfast. We went down to the lobby at 7:30 AM - there was no breakfast and no staff at the checkout desk. Will never stay at this hotel again.

They gave me a room that was not ready (trash, bed was not made, dirty towels on the bathroom floor when I got there - so I asked for a new room. I was given a new room, but there was a pile of dirty towels and wet sheets in front of my room. I told the front desk staff about it but nothing was done. The dirty wet sheets were still there when I left - are they short staffed or something?

Underwhelmed, No Free Breakfast
What was good: hotel was quiet, AC blows very cold, bed was reasonably comfortable, wifi worked well; we didn't interact with the staff much but when we did, they were helpful and kind. The bad: We booked this hotel because it said it came with free continental breakfast for two--I double-checked my reservation to confirm that was the case. When we checked in, we were told there was no free breakfast, just free coffee, and a paid breakfast counter (open 6-8am) where we could get fancier coffees and breakfast sandwiches for a fee. The front desk clerk told us that the hotel had recently changed ownership, so perhaps this change can be chalked up to that, but the free breakfast is literally the reason we opted for this hotel, rather than staying at an AirBNB closer to downtown Milwaukee that was roughly the same price. The room was a bit on the small side, but not a big deal--it's mostly just a place to sleep, so the bed being comfortable was more important. We were told at check in we wouldn't have maid service unless we asked for it, which we prefer--we hung out our "do not disturb" hanger. On the the day before our last day of stay, we came back to the room and discovered our sheets had been changed, towels swapped, trash emptied, etc. But we had not planned on having anyone in our room, so our belongings were strewn about, suitcases sitting open, etc. Generally just underwhelmed with the experience.

The hotel was nice and clean. I did have a little trouble getting the a/c to turn off. It kept turning on, even when I turned the wall unit off. I don't need a room to be cold.

The Hotel was very clean and the Hotel staff were very nice. Pool was clean and heated. Only downfall was the Construction in front of the hotel made it a little tricky getting in and out but thats not their fault. I give it a B
