Hampton Inn Milwaukee/Brookfield

We stayed at the Hampton Inn after attending a play in Elm Grove. When we went to the front desk to check in, we were told that the hotel's booking system was down and we needed to present a detailed confirmation of the room type we booked. Luckily we had that with us. The front desk staff was apologetic and fairly quick with the check-in process considering the circumstances. We stayed in a standard King room. This was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. The bathroom was particularly pristine. I couldn't find a single thing wrong with the room aesthetically - not even a smudge on the wallpaper. The size of the room was a bit smaller than the average king hotel room. The bed was very comfortable and made up with high quality linens. The room was furnished beautifully with matching dark wood pieces which gave the room a masculine and luxurious feel. Overall, I was very impressed with this hotel.

The hotel was nice and the staff was very helpful and nice. But unfortunately the bed was horrible it was overly bouncy and absolutely filthy. This was a special occasion for my fiance and We we're thoroughly disappointed and management was notified.

Good Value. The Breakfast was nice. A little bit noisy, some guests coming back from a wedding.

The hotel is very nice, close to the mall and easy access to other parts of the city. However, the heat was noisy. Probably wouldn't stay her again because of that.

We travel to Brookfield for golf lessons monthly. We always choose to stay at the Hampton Inn. It is clean, convenient and affordable.

Reasonable, comfortable, clean! Walking distance to two eating places. Great location especially for out- of town guests as it's easily accessible to the freeway and minutes away from shopping/eating etc.. We live in town but stayed here for a family wedding that was close by, and we chose this as one of our preferred hotels for our guests for our Sept 2014 as well. Lots of hotels in this area, but for the ones in this price point- offered clean, comfortable surroundings with a great staff.

Very clean, nice staff, good experience. Doing construction on exterior when there. plastic over our window.

Even though this hotel was under construction it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed up. We would definitely recommend this hotel to all our family and friends. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The only problem we had was the $50 hold they put on our bank card. I found it unnecessary.

After reading a lot of reviews, I anticipated that this hotel was going to be a good choice to stay at in the Milwaukee area. However, after first being able to hear all of the next room's conversations, including the one at midnight, and then finding the sheets to be stained and dirty..I soon realized I could have made a better choice for the money that we spent. The night staff member was a lot nicer than the day guy who helped me check-in. The night staff member traded us rooms, but then our heat would not work. We toughed out the night and the next night because we did not want to move everything again. I hope this was just a mistake that happens to no one else here. We will be choosing some place else next time to stay.

Room cleanliness and continental breakfast was amazing. Pool area was chilly.

The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast included good hot food and numerous choices. We had a fire alarm incident during the night that was a prank but not the hotels fault.

room was very clean and orderly...lobby and breakfast areas were very nice...breakfast was excellent...location can not be beat...lots of good restaurants in area

Great hotel overall. Friendly and acccomodating staff. Very good quality breakfast.

Room was very clean, nice modern tv. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Location was great only a few miles from miller park or the zoo plenty of restraunts around. Rooms were very clean and neat. Bathrooms were spotless. Beds were extremely comfortable... Highly reccomended

This is our favorite place to stay in the Milwaukee when we visit our daughter. It has a nice pool and breakfast bar. The staff is friendly and the beds are comfortable. It has a Perkins in the parking lot and is close to lots of excellent shopping. Great place to stay!

This hotel was great! We enjoyed the time that we spent there. The breakfast was very good. I especially liked it that they offered hot oatmeal for breakfast. Their coffee was excellent. The lady at the desk was very welcoming when we came in and acted like she appreciated our business. The room looked like it might have been remodeled recently with a nice work desk and room to put things underneath the sink. I would definitely go back to this hotel again in the future.

I've stayed a several Hampton Inn's before and have always had a great experience. From the moment I checked in I was greeted with friendly, helpful staff. Their warm, soft cookies are offered up right away and are delicious - just like coming home after along day's work. My room was on the top floor on the west side of the building, so I had a great view. The decor is very "moody" with nice, soft accent lighting and is very inviting. I had a desk with overhead spot lights which worked great for reading and computer work. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were high quality. The bathroom was clean, arranged very well, and has an upscale look - very nice. Each morning of my stay I took advantage of the complimentary breakfast. They offer just about anything you can think of and over the course of my 5 night stay I never had the same thing twice for breakfast - there's just so much to choose from! I tried out the pool and hot tub too. The pool was warm and the entire area was clean. No disappointments here. Now for the negatives, which are that bad. The rooms could use some more electrical outlets. I always had to move one of the night stands aside to plug in my phone overnight. The TV lineup and picture quality absolutely stinks. Why do hotel chains insist on broadcasting standard definition content to their HD wide screen TVs? What a waste! Finally, the reservoir in my toilet drain slightly and steadily, so every couple of minutes the toilet would "kick in" and top off the reservoir. I didn't bother to tell anyone, I probably should have, but I just closed the water feed valve each night before going to bed. Overall, it was another great experience!

we had a very pleasant time at this hotel. it was very quiet and they had an amazing continental breakfast! we would definitely tell people to stay here.
