Me and my family came for dinner in the restaurant great service very clean I even seen the chef out in the dining room talking to customers which I thought was great making sure we’re satisfied with our food very enjoyable place to bring your family and friends!
This hotel is everything you could ask for. Rooms are very clean and spacious and meet all of your needs. The hotel itself is large, but quiet. It is kept spotless and free of any sign of wear. The staff are extremely friendly and you would never go wrong staying here.
My family came up to visit the Germanfest, Cubs/Brewers game and to relax. We had a relaxing time at the waterpark except for the groups of summer camps during the week. We did take advantage of the slides, lazy river and hot tub. All very relaxing. The updates to the rooms and the overall feel of the hotel has changed for the better from the old hotel. We had a courtyard room that we could sit outside and enjoy the outdoors. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was larger than before and the decor was very appealing. Bathroom door is unique sliding door. Please consider changing the glassware and mugs to recyclable cups because with small children can break and hurt themselves. Thanks for the accomodations, keep improving and we will be back.
Since we have gotten here, everyone has been rude beyond belief. The receptionist seemed to have no clue what she was doing, the lifeguards were rude and gave insufficient explanations of rules. When we asked questions, we were completely ignores. Even our server at the hotel dining room! I asked him for a recommendation and he got so frustrated and abrupt! The amenities here are nice but its really not worth it to be treated like trash while you stay here. We have another night and I personally cant wait to leave and never come back again. Also, every one was very loud and no one seemed to care. My three year old could barely sleep.
Brian did such a great job and his staff was so atentive. Even with the weather not behaving everything was perfect. Thank you for also helping us with finding our photographer. Vital image was a dream come true. We love everything cant say thank you enogh.
Found this while travelling in the area to go to Lake Geneva. It's a bit out of the way, but the hotel was absolutely worth the drive. All of the staff was extremely kind and helpful. The room was plenty big and had been remodeled beautifully (especially the bathrooms). We had access to a courtyard, which was a great spot to enjoy some takeout for dinner. The waterpark was exceptionally clean, well-managed and had an abundance of lifeguards throughout. Also recommend visiting downtown Waukesha for some great local restaurants.
Yep that’s right they run out of pool towels by 2:30pm on a Sunday. The pool staff is friendly, not to busy on this day. Everyone had fun . $35 day pass bring your own towels. What about the ones you have a paid room, do they have to bring there room towels. The snack bar is a nice touch to have inside. You can bring in your own snacks just clean up after your self. some people are just rude on how messy they can be.
I struggled with rating between 2 and 3; but in the end, I just couldn't bring myself to rate this hotel as "average". On the positive side: This hotel is a large place and looks nice. It seems to be well kept. Our room faced the courtyard area in the center of the hotel which was very nice. We didn't spend any time in the courtyard, but it was well used by others. Though this does add some noise. The mattress was outstanding. My wife and I both slept better than we have in a very long time. We got a photo of the label and are strongly considering one for at home. We did not have a dog, but the hotel appears to be exceptionally dog friendly. A board near the front desk welcomes pets by name. There is a jar (or two?) of treats on the desk. The bath and body works soaps and lotions were a nice touch appreciated by my wife. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Negatives: There is no breakfast included. This was disappointing. I've come to expect at least a continental breakfast. There is no free coffee or fruit at the front desk. The market area off the lobby does sell coffee for $2 a cup if I remember correctly. There is a little coffee maker in the room with coffee and tea. The room cleanliness could have been better. It wasn't bad, but not as good as it should have been. The carpet was likely vacuumed, but not very well. I don't think the closet was vacuumed at all since that floor was very gritty. There was a hair under the pillows and some splotches on the pillow cases. The toilet needed scrubbing: under the seat, around the rim, at the base, etc. This seems to be getting fairly common at many hotels. Only the easily visible parts of the toilet get cleaned. There were rust stains in the toilet and the shower. The tub also needed to be scrubbed out before my wife was willing to use it. It was basically grey on the bottom instead of white. There were stains in the sink and hairs on the bathroom floor. A lot of the above items are pretty minor by themselves - we understand that hair gets everywhere and doesn't always come off the sheets in the wash - but there are enough little things that to me it adds up to questionable cleanliness. The stairway we used to come and go was rather disgusting. Big spills, debris, garbage, etc. This needed some serious attention. It was among the worst stairways I've seen at a hotel. The room does not have a microwave. Walking around the hotel, we were able to find a little microwave in one vending area. One interesting item I haven't seen at any other hotels is a "no weapons" sign at the entrances. I have two problems with this. First (and most importantly), "gun free zones" seem to attract trouble. Schools, theaters, night clubs, all of the high profile mass shootings have been in so called "gun free zones". A hotel is likely a relatively safe place to be, but I see no need to increase risk. Second - I'm not a lawyer - but my understanding of Wisconsin statute 943.13 is that once I occupy part of the building (my room) I can no longer be forced to leave my room or a common area. So the signs don't apply to anyone staying at the hotel anyway. They just serve to make law abiding citizens feel unwelcome.
This is a must stay for business travel For visiting Lake country at an affordable price. The hotel was much nicer they and the chains on 94/83 and for a fraction of the price. The workout Room was especially nice. They also offer deeply discounted waterpark passes.
We stayed here for one night, in a group of three. Ingleside Hotel is a very large place designed for events. As such, there are long distances between parts of the hotel, creating pretty long walks from the lobby to your room. If you have mobility issues, this might not be your best choice. Otherwise, this is a perfectly fine hotel. It is a good alternative to the chains that dominate the area. It has been remodeled fairly recently, so furnishings were all good. The indoor pool is nice, as is the large outdoor courtyard. We just had a drink in the restaurant, so cannot attest to the quality of the food, but the restaurant/bar is another large, pleasant space. The gas fireplace in the lobby is a unique touch, and there is a little room off the lobby with tables and a computer. I did a little work there. We didn't use the attached waterpark, but this would be a fun place for a family with young children who love waterparks. The Ingleside is probably best enjoyed if you are attending a conference or a wedding reception here. For regular non-event visitors, it is not particularly memorable, but works perfectly well.
