There are rusted bathtub drain and other rusted spots on the bathtub. Cleaning maid didn't do a thorough cleaning job, they left dirty surface places of furnitures here and there, didn't empty both trash cans, didn't add daily supplies adequately...Bad receptionists - unfriendly, lack smiling.
The Kimpton was excellent, we stayed for one night prior to our cruise out of Miami. The balcony was a perfect place to eat dinner, the bathtub was amazing, and the beds very comfy. We were within walking distance to a few restaurants, Whole Foods, and CVS, which fit our needs perfectly. The pools ...
staff were very good, easy access to trolley service. Hotel is in dire need of maintenance. I am a Plant Operations Director for living facilities and found general conditions unsatisfactory (i.e. large hole in casing above my room's bed from an apparent water leak). Much work needs to be done, otherwise ...
Was fabulous! Has everything you need, gracious, helpful staff that literally RUN to assist you with anything at all. Beautiful property and amentities, is right on the beach, couldnt have asked for anything more. All around, the best hotel we've ever stayed at.
Pros - Great rates - Has lot of places to eat around. - Clean, very neat - Helpful staff. We reached hotel at 11 pm. We found that the sink was clogged. They sent someone to fix right away. Cons - Far from the beach. - No toiletries provided. Only 2 pieces of soap.
With such beautiful weather throughout the year, Miami is full of fantastic outdoor destinations to enjoy with you and your furry companion. From the beaches to the parks, patios and restaurants, you and your pet will more than enjoy this Florida city.
While Miami has a number of beaches, the most popular one for pets is Hobie Beach. With shallower water, it is the perfect place for your pet to go swimming. Margaret Pace Park is dog friendly, and you can even participate in Downward With Your Dog, a fun workout session on the first Saturday of each month. Pets are also welcome to Founders Park as long as they are on a leash.
For dog owners planning a stroll in the park, there are quite a number of dog-specific parks all over the city. Check out Dog Park at Haulover Park, Perrine Wayside Dog Park, Lago Mar Dog Park, Tropical Dog Park, Legion Memorial Dog Park, Northeast Regional Dog Park at East Greynolds Park, Margaret Pace Dog Park, Kennedy Dog Park, Martell Bark Park, A.D. Barnes Park, Dog Park at West Kendall District Park, and Amelia Earhart Dog Park.
Bal Harbour Shops and Merrick Park Shops are both outdoor, pet-friendly malls for when you want to do some shopping. Doggie Bag Café & Pet Boutique is great for fun pet styles and its fresh, gourmet dog food. When you are hungry, head to Lokal and Spillover in Coconut Grove, or Kush in Wynwood. Their owner, Matthew Kuscher, is a huge dog lover and has thus made all three restaurants dog friendly. Your pup can even have its own nonalcoholic Bowser Beer. Moreover, look out for Doggie Diner on Wheels along Biscayne Boulevard. With organic entrées and desserts, your pup can experience the food truck craze, too.
