Hermoso condominio frente al mar en el Golfo de Marco Island en el South Seas Club directamente en la legendaria playa de media luna de arena blanca de tres millas y media. El edificio está al lado del parque estatal Tiger Tail. El apartamento, en el octavo piso, tiene una exposición suroeste y WIFI gratuito en el interior. Las puertas corredizas de piso a techo conducen desde todas las habitaciones a un lanai privado de 36 'por 6' con azulejos y muebles, con vista a la gran piscina climatizada, la playa, el Golfo de México y la reserva natural del estado. Great location, dated property

We stayed with our family of 5 including 3 children ages 4, 6, and 8. This is our 2nd stint at Tigertail Beach so we were prepared for the 3/4mi walk this year! The owner had a convenient cart to bring belongings to the beach but not many other amenities. There were 2 umbrellas but we brought a tent (learned last year that umbrellas aren’t the best). The main bathroom is updated as are the floors in the bedrooms. The kitchen is pretty dated but functional. The patio furniture could also use some updating but the views are spectacular. Overall, we had a nice time at the property. The beach is beautiful! We found over 30 sand dollars during low tide. The shelling was amazing this trip! We would rent from this owner again - they communicated very well and the unit was reasonably priced.

Wonderful trip!

Beautiful property. Condo a little outdated in deco, but very clean and comfortable. Beach is a little bit of a walk to the water but was stated before hand. Owner exceptionally nice and eager to please. Would stay again and hope to in the future.

Great place but needs some TLC.

We had a great time! The view of the condo is gorgeous! It has a huge balcony with an ocean and pool view. I was worried after reading some reviews, people complained that the place wasn’t clean and the mattresses were old. To be honest our first impression wasn’t good. The comforters and sheets are really old and look grimy and faded (some of the sheets had no more elastic and wouldn’t stay put) and the towels that were hanging on the rods were all stained. That gives you the impression of dirty. When I actually smelled them they smelled really good and clean. If the owner invested a little bit on new sheets and towels it would give the place a whole new look. The mattresses are actually pretty comfortable and look new, with the exception of the pull out couch mattress, that was actually really bad, you could feel all the bars because the mattress was so old and thin. There are a lot of rules! When we arrived the blinds weren’t closing and some of the rules from the owner and from the town, said that the blinds need to be closed by a certain time. I spoke to Johannah and she was very nice and prompt to help. She said she couldn’t find anyone to come to the condo since it was Saturday evening, totally understandable, and told me how to temporarily close them. I expected someone to come during the week to fix the blinds but no one came. The same way that there was a sign at one of the the sinks, half in Spanish, half in English, that I figured meant not to use it, and since the housekeeper put it there, I thought the owner was aware of the issue, but no one came to fix it. The pool is really nice and clean and there’s always someone cleaning the pool area and the building halls and bathrooms downstairs. There’s a long walk to the beach! Even thought the building is by the sand you still have a good 10 to 15 minutes walk to the water, what you see in the picture from the balcony is what you actually have to walk, but the beach is beautiful, clean and the water was super warm! Beware that there’s a parking fee. I read in one of the reviews that the fee was $50, well, we had to pay $100 for the week. This was listed with the rules, but I think that for transparency it should have been stated with the description of the place. The garage is attached to the building so I really didn’t see the reason for the place condo to charge you for parking. Overall we had a great time. With a little TLC the place could be excellent!

poor on cleanliness

We rented this condo for a week, after a couple of days we left and went to stay at a hotel as I had expressed the need for a clean environment. Bathrooms still had old hair around the showers, drawers that held the blow dryer had hair from previous guests. The beds were not great, the sheets were old and pilled, pillow cases were an off color and most uncomfortable. We had rented a condo in the past and it was a great accomodation. This condo needs lots of TLC, its dated and in need of renovation. We never sat on the couch as its been glued back together as it is torn. The patio furniture looks to be taken from the pool . I was not going to post a review but had been in contact with the owner who did not reply to any of the concerns. There are a number of old silk plants in the condo, over time they need to be either taken outside to be washed or thrown away. I would not rent this unit again.

Great condo. Excellent location. Nice Facilities. Super communication with owner (Johanna). We thought having the washer and dryer down the hallway might be an issue but it was not. They were always available and it was easy to add money to the key card. The only negative is that the appliances and the condo in general were dated. We had a great time and would stay here again.

Nice stay

We were pleased to stay here. The owner is very proactive and caring, foreseeing all possible inconveniences and providing the suggestions how to avoid them. The condo has a nice view, plenty of dishes and everything you need to have. The condo has everything to stay here happily. The only suggestion is to tell the maid to check toilets and bathrooms for urine leak and hair. But that’s can happen everywhere. Good vacation place definitely

Bait and switch

Let me start by saying that I never EVER never left a review that was less than 4 stars. Before reading my review please read the review for listing 3733642 (that is mentioned in this listing) by Kim D. Unfortunately, I have read it too late. All the observations about the OUTDATED and WORN interior are valid for this condo also. You may notice the pictures for the listing lack luminosity, and now you know the reason. Feeling as in a inn by the side of the highway from the 80s. Now my experience: I am quite unhappy about the listing, it does not disclose all the extra costs and rules, the "small print" is not included, so I felt like in a "bait and switch" situation. So ... with about 2 to 3 weeks before checking in you will receive the keys and 2 pages long of "helpful directions". If you have the patience to read it as soon as you receive them you will get the surprises right away, if not they will pile up when you check-in: - you need to register and pay a parking fee - you will not get paper and soap supply in the apartment: really ? who wants to go shopping before being able to use the toilet ? - you need to be VERY careful with the sliding doors because they are flimsy - you need to be VERY careful with the blinds because they are sensitive - you cannot use the kitchen sink disposer because it will clog - there are no washer and dryer in the apartment; I understand the HOA does not allow, but they are part of the amenities INCLUDED the vrbo LISTING - the laundry card can be loaded only using CASH - you need to mail the keys back in a padded envelope with a tracking number (no envelope or pre-payed label provided) I don't mind any of these rules. I mind they were NOT DISCLOSED either before booking or after booking, but only with 2.5 weeks before checking in when the cancelation wouldn't be possible without full penalty. And this is NOT ALL: the apartment was not cleaned after the previous guests. After working the phones for 1h, the cleaning lady came 1h later and took 2h to clean everything up ... lost 4h of rest after a drive of 6h. We were lucky as we have arrived at 5pm. Just imagine an arrival at 11pm after a 10h drive. The owner said the cleaning lady didn't understand the schedule. The cleaning lady said it was not told to clean THIS apartment. I think the OWNER is FULLY RESPONSABILE for making sure the cleaning happens.

We were inconvenienced from using the balcony due to painting and repairs being made on the building

The pool is great and convenient. Parking is nearby but will cost $50 for the week. The owner did make us aware ahead of our trip of the work being done on the outside of the building, which was very nice of her.

Great views and beach!

Our family of four loved the great views from the 8th floor balcony and the beach is amazing! The pool is very nice but rather strict with the pool monitor and rules prohibiting kids from jumping in, no ball throwing, etc. We still enjoyed the pool it was just more restrictive than we are accustomed to. We also enjoyed the shuffleboard, corn hole, and bocce ball area; we don't play tennis or pickle ball but there were very nice courts where we watched others playing. The owner/manager of the property was very easy and enjoyable to work with!

Johanna was so great to work with, very accommodating. The condo was spacious, very clean, loved that it was a gated community. The walk to the beach was a bit of a trek, but our teenagers were fine with it. The pool was wonderful.

Our New Annual Retreat

The condo and was lovely and the owner was gracious and hospitable. She made herself available in the event that we needed anything, but the unit and condo grounds had everything we needed and more. Perfect for morning workouts in the exercise room, afternoons by the pool and sunset walks on the BEAUTIFUL seemingly endless beach. We had a view of the sunrise, wildlife in the lagoons, the beach, the ocean and the pool all from out balcony. Lots of great local restaraunts, from tiki bars to fine dining atmospheres. We plan to make this an annual escape

Totally Impressed with the property. Spacious condo with a wonderful view of the beach!

Johanna was a wonderful host! She greeted my wife and I on our first day of arrival at Tower 4. She showed us which keys opened certain doors and personally toured us through the condo. The room was more than we expected and fully stocked with amenities. All we needed to bring was food, coffee and beverages. Sitting on the balcony early in the morning was so relaxing and watching the evening thunderstorms off in the distance was spectacular. Having a parking garage was one of the best perks especially during the few but short rain storms we encountered. We will most certainly be back and will be going through Johanna again! Fantastic!

Great place to relax at the pool, beach, or play tennis!

This is a beautiful condo on the south end of the beach. Has all of the kitchen accessories we like to have for our own breakfast or any other meals (nice to be able to walk back from the pool, beach, or tennis courts for a sandwich in your unit), nice TV's, and was a quiet building Tower #4. It's about a quarter mile walk out to the water if you walk around the lagoon, but it's a good warmup to get to the beach. There's a closet in this unit with a cart if you need it, along with beach chairs and other stuff, if you like to spend a long time at the beach. There's also a great complex of Har Tru (green clay) tennis courts a short walk from the parking garage, which also has a small miniature golf area, pickle ball, and I think botchie ball courts. The view from the huge balcony is fantastic. We visited in 2nd week of August and was cool enough to have breakfast out there until 10:30 or so. Also covered garage parking is nice and attached to the building, short walk from the elevators. The rest of my family had never been to Marco and loved it and this condo - they were depressed to go home at the end of our vacay lol!
