Easy to find and rooms were laid out nice for a family.

Great room, was a perfect room with for traveling with a teenager. Will definitely go back to this location. Felt more like home than a hotel.

Front deak staff was a bit inexperienced. Room was beautiful but bathroom vanity had not been completely cleaned. There was makeup residue still on counter top.

Parking is limited. The lobby had an odd odor. Day 1 the hall smelled like tacos. The next morning it smelled like you were in a Tobasco factory. I wouldn’t want to walk around the area at night.

Nice room. Friendly staff. Small pool and hot tub. A little annoying having outdoor basketball court near rooms and people using it all hours of day and night.

Everything about the hotel was pretty good except for the creaky boards upstairs. Whoever obtained the room upstairs made a significant amount of noise nearly all night long. The boards need to be nailed down because every time he would walk across the room, it would make a horrible creaking noise. At 5 o'clock in the morning, it was very loud since there was no noise going on in my room to muffle the racket. When I mentioned it to the front desk they said this was a 20-something year old building and it's going to creak. I told her that the boards could be nailed down more and that would help but she just laughed when I mentioned that. I was looking forward to sleeping in until 8 o'clock a.m. and lost a lot of sleep listening to creaky boards all night long. If I ever stay there again I will only sleep on the top floor to avoid that ever happening again...since nailing down the floors a little more seems like a joke to everyone there. Our bathroom door also needed to be squirted with some WD 40. Breakfast was excellent and the staff attending to the breakfast was very friendly and comical. Room was clean and nice.

Residence Inn was very nice for the most part. However, I was surprised by the fact that the cabinets and sink base show obvious signs of wear and tear. I think they should be replaced a long time ago.

I am sorry you encountered a guest room that was not properly cleaned. We do have quite a few new front desk associates, that are still learning the Marriott ways. We hope to see you back!

Thank you for taking your time leave us a review! It was a fairly busy weekend for us, and parking is very limited, I do apologize. We were also cleaning with vinegar during this weekend. It has a very pungent odor, I again apologize for the smells, it does not normally give that smell! We hope to see you back here when you visit Madison
