Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is simple but for a hostel great. The room was nice and the bathrooms were always very clean. The bed was very short. We are 1.78 cm so not the tallest and were almost struggling with the length of the bed but it was not a big problem for us and we managed it.
This was a great hostel in an amazing location. Rooms were clean and hostel was quiet. It was so close to the walk of fame and had parking available (for a $10 per night surcharge which was a bargain). I’d definitely recommend if you’re wanting to stay somewhere central in LA without breaking the bank.
I enjoy staying at hostels, and Orange Drive Hostel is the perfect location in Hollywood. It is only a block from Hollywood Blvd near attractions such as the Chinese Theater, the Dolby Theater, the Hollywood Museum, Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, and much more. It is on a side street, so it is quiet. It has a parking lot, so I don't need to try to find street parking. We stayed in a private room that was small but comfortable. My only disappointment was the breakfast did not have more options, although I enjoyed my oatmeal with raisins.
The hostel is close to Hollywood Blvd. Its clean and the staff are friendly. They provide complimentary breakfast in the mornings. I didn't find the Hostel noisy. Its great to meet people when travelling solo as well.
It's my third time here and I will keep coming back!!!! They really make me feel like I am at home and I love the rooms and everybody here. You can cook your own breakfast, the location is EXCELLENT and you can really rest after walking around the city because there is peace here. This is the best place to stay in Hollywood and you will never regret it. I specially love the smell of the towels and the sheets, they are always very clean and cozy. Thank you for everything, guys!
This hostel is in perfect location - quiet spot just around the corner from the main street, where everything happens. The house is kind of old and worn, but almost impossibly clean, so alltoghether it has very cosy and homely feeling. Staff is kind and helpful. I loved it there and would come back any time.
The Orange Drive Hostel is in the right location for a quiet visit within a two block walk to some of the wildest and amazing nightlife in California. I stayed in a private room and found sharing a bathroom was no problem because there are so many of them scattered around the hostel. Being within easy walking distance from the famous boulevard, modern shopping mall, a nice tour company and the Chinese theater made my one-day visit to Hollywood a joy.
Orange drive hostel is in a great location, only a couple of minutes walk from Hollywood Blvd where all the tour buses pick you up from! It was super easy to navigate my way around, and felt safe at night also! The room I stayed in was a 6 bed female dorm with an en-suite, which has plenty of room for my 2 bags also. Breakfast was waffles or muesli, but there were fridges if you wanted to buy yourself something extra. The staff were lovely and helpful.
I'd say the location is superb - merely walking distance from Hollywood touristy area, dolby theatre and whatnots. Staff was friendly, helped with my luggage and with y airport transport arrangement. Price is a little bit on a high side for a hostel - I booked a private single room with bathroom attached so no complains. All in all, a good place to stay if you're in Hollywood
Orange Drive Hostel is fantastic. The whole property is very welcoming. It feels like home right away. The accommodations are perfect for a hostel stay and the staff is friendly and helpful. The location is amazing! It is SO convenient. Walk but a minute or two and you are in the heart of Hollywood. Walk a couple more minutes and you can hop on the Metro Red Line and get anywhere you want to go. I planned to stay two nights but extended to four. It was that comfortable and convenient. I would recommend it to anyone. If you are coming to Hollywood, you should book it!
