The 'Sherazade Suite' (Ha! Ha!) is a pokey and dark basement space originally built for very unloved servants. The hot water is intermittent, the room is stuffy, and you are amusingly instructed not to put greasy hands on the 'rich fabrics'. The parking (an extra 30 pounds a night) is a tiny yard about 150m distant. Every time you want access to your car you have to wait for a member of staff to be summoned. Generally no one was available. The breakfast is not 'full British' (the first time ever I have seen this missing in a London hotel), instead it is a middle ranking Continental. The waitress frowned when I asked for extra coffee. Four stars? That's the problem right there: it's fine for a two or three star hotel, but calling it four star (and charging like it is) is an outrage.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. I am very sorry that your stay here did not meet your expectations. Our Junior suite was recently refurbished. It is much more lighter and furnished in more modern style. We truly advertise our breakfast selection. We advertise continental breakfast which are highly ranked. We are one of the few hotels in are which have car park. We recommend car park reservation before and also prices are available. If it is too high I recommend you book somewhere else cheaper. Unfortunately, we are small property , which does not have employee only for car park, we are very sorry that you had to wait a few minutes. We will investigate the waitress issue and make sure it will not happen again. We are very sorry for all the inconvenience caused.
