This is a beautiful space in a very special neighborhood. The roof deck is truly special and perfect for summer nights. Two of the 3 rooms are spacious, and the kitchen is well-stocked. We appreciated the washer/dryer. Check-out instructions are clear and simple. There were some negatives. Unexpectedly, the hour before check in, they required sending pictures of a government ID and credit card front and back to get the key box code - I was on EuroStar with no/poor wifi so the timing was stressful. The shower in the master does not drain - there is mold on the shower floor as a result. The bathtub drains fine, so we used that. On the last night, the water to the entire apartment shut off completely and was off for around 2 hours. We were there during a heat wave, so the following will not apply during cooler weather: Several windows are blocked and do not open fully, which dramatically restricts air flow in every room. There were fans provided in the bedrooms, but with one exception, they are broken/weak. We slept in 28 - 31 degree rooms. The owner suggested we buy new fans and get reimbursed. This response is better than nothing, but we did not have time to coordinate buying new fans given our schedule. Finally, the communication with the townhouse management/owner is very strange. It seems they have automated responses available only: "Hello. Thank you for letting us know. We will inform our team and we will update you accordingly." was a response sent several times.
