Holiday Inn Express London - Vauxhall Nine Elms

We were planning a short 3 day visit to London and found this hotel at a really good price. Usual holiday inn standards, spotlessly clean hotel and room excellent hot and cold buffet breakfast, the best place we have stayed for ease of using transport systems, bus stops are right outside in either direction, so if you don't fancy the short 5 minute walk to the vauxhall transport hub for underground, overground or the bus station you can hop a bus every few minutes outside the hotel and two minutes later you can get a bus train or tube to anywhere. There is also a transport information window where they will tell you how to get to anywhere👍 The hotel is in a very quiet area and has a great Brazilian bar/restaurant across the road that had THE best Friday evening entertainment you could wish for in central London, live Brazilian bands and samba. If you want a good night out and don't fancy paying silly entrance fees (it's free entry) then £6-7 a pint then pop in to this bar you shouldn't be disappointed , plus beers good and priced normally!

I have a very comfortable stay at this holiday inn. Bed was huge and very comfy. I had two great nights sleep in a perfect location for the course I was on. Close to lots restaurants, tube station. Parking available for £22/day Breakfast choice was perfectly adequate and very tasty.

The staff at Vauxhall were very helpful and accommodating. They opened one of the rooms up much earlier than check in so we could drop our bags off. The rooms were clean and pretty modern. I was impressed for the price of something relatively central in London too. I would definitely stay again next time I'm in London.

Budget friendly, clean, centrally located. This was a pleasant last minute choice and good value for money. Very close to public transport - Vauxhall tube and buses. Middle class area with plenty of restaurants and pubs with a great variety of cuisines.

For its price and location it is a decent hotel. I didn't try the breakfast. If you are in a new refurbished room you can't complain very clean and fresh. I didn't like the old rooms. Parking is good. Staff are friendly. The in room portable mobiles is good.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 days only for sight seeing in around London. I was using my IHG points to pay the room which was comparable to £ 140 per night for a 2 singled-bed for 2 person include breakfast. They provide free wifi. There is an additional £ 25 parking fee if you have a car but I didn't bother because I didn't have one. This cost was cheaper compared to same class of hotel in London. The only disadvantage is this hotel is quite far from the heart of London city, but bus stop is just right in front of hotel building. Bus is routinely available from time to time. After calculating bust cost it is still cheaper and worthy effort. The room was clean, quite, breakfast was not bad and most importantly for me the staff was helpful and friendly. They were willing to let me leave my luggage in their luggage room after I checkout and took it back two days later because I was flying somewhere else.

Stayed with wife twice in April for 4 and 2 nights. This is quite convenient for tourist as Vauxhall is 7 min walk and if you have travel card, BuS 2 and 88 are across the road and takes you to Vauxhall or even central Oxford Circus and all. Very clean and they offer FREE Handy with Data. Nice staff.

Looking for a cheap weekend in London, I was surprised to get this central quality hotel for a terrific price. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and good sized very clean rooms -a gem in Vauxhall. A short walk to tube stations, and a taxis always on hand. A good, small cooked breakfast to set you up for he day

Nice location - Vauxhall station is really close and will connect to tube and train lines. The Ethiopian restaurant up the street is very good. The room was clean but small. It was on the 4th floor and the windows were frosted which I think made it feel smaller. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful.

We came from Southhampton after a transatlantic cruise. International Friends bus dropped us off right at the hotel. Front desk associate Basit and other associates were amazing. They helped us with directions and pertinent facts about London. We had two twin beds in our room and they were very comfortable. The room was quiet, well lit and well equipped. It was clean and functional, as expected from most Holiday Inn Express. The room was bigger than I thought, considering that it was London. Internet speed was very good. Continental breakfast was the same each day. Both my wife and I were happy with the food selections. There were a couple of American TV stations but nothing extensive. It was fine since we were tired from visiting many of the must-see. The train station was about nine minutes walk. There were a few reasonably priced pubs and restaurants close by. Very convenient indeed. Bonus - there was a bus stop for national express which took us to Gatwick. It was only a two minutes walk from the hotel. It stopped at 840, 940 etc.
