The hotel is very well located bus and tube is very close. All hotel employees are very friendly. The room has a good size and is very clean. The breakfast has basic britisch charm. I can recommend the hotel ... !!!
I would recommend this hotel, there was nothing that made me think I didn't want to stay there. Comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. Friendly staff. Very clean. If I had to pick any faults I would say the hairdryer didn't have much power, but still did the job and my dirty cups and glasses didn't get changed for a couple of days but it was no problem to change them at reception. I would still stay there again though.
Great location for 6 of is to stay for the cricket. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. Reception area was nice, staff extremely friendly and breakfast was adequate. It wasn't a great feed but there was a decent selection and it was included in the price so cannot complain. Overall the hotel was modern, clean and tidy. I was expecting a bit of a poky motel but it was actually quite nice. I wouldn't hesitate in staying here again.
Excellent and very professional staff, updated, clean rooms, very comfortable beds, all you need. Location, nice (small) parking, ... al in all, a no brainer, I’ll come back to this hotel next time I’ll be in the area If I could ask for anything else, that would only be some USB ports
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Vauxhall for a weekend in August with family including an infant. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The location is great with several restaurants within walking distance. There's also a bus stop right outside that made going to Central London very convenient. Staff was very courteous.
Me and 3 friends stayed at this hotel on a weekend in August and before we arrived we called the desk to arrange 2 car parking spaces for the duration. The man on the phone said this was fine and 2 spaces would be saved for us however when we arrived we was told no spaces were available. We had drove an hour and a half away so we were not familiar with the area. This was only the first problem! Then we were told we had to pay a £50 deposit for any damages during our stay , which we did pay on card. As we checked out we asked what would happen with the deposit and they said the money would be put on our card 3-5 days later. I waited one week until I rang the hotel and asked where my deposits was. The lady on the phone was apologetic, said the money should be back in my account as soon as possible and claimed she would call me back yet she did not. I would not be bothered about this money if we had caused damage to the room or broke something however we left the room immaculate and exactly how it was when we arrived. We are just over 2 weeks from when we stayed in this hotel and still the money has not been put back into my account! If they ask you to pay a deposit, pay cash and ensure you get your money back before you leave the premises !
Needed to visit US Embassy in nine elms, this hotel was perfect, well priced just 90 pounds sterling, parking on site, safe place, clean, comfortable, great staff, hot breakfast and cereal included, also bonus of hot drinks in room, hair dryer, nice and quiet surroundings, absolutely perfect, and just 14 min walk to new US Embassy
This is my second time in London and second time at this hotel. It was excellent then as it is now. The room was well maintained and the breakfast fine. Our room was quiet as was the floor in general. We like the fact that the bus/trains were nearby as well. But what made this hotel special was the employees. All hotel staff were helpful and respectful (one male worker assigned on 8/28, night shift, whose name begins with A was extremely kind). They make this fine hotel even finer. Selecting this hotel for your visit would be a fine choice.
I'm accustomed to highway and interstate travel in the US, so take my review for what it's worth. I'll say first that everything was clean, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The lobby was exactly what I expected as was the breakfast. But the room somehow didn't feel quite up to what I'm used to with HIE and similar hotel chains stateside. I get that the room was smaller because of its location in a major city. But the decor seemed a bit out of date. I know it's a minor criticism. But if you're looking to feel at home with what you've come to know, this place doesn't quite measure up.
Room was big and spotless, with a decent-sized shower and good air-con. Wifi worked well. Staff were super-helpful - at check-in they took the time to make sure that I had a room I was happy with (at the back of the building - it's quieter), and when I didn't get new milk/tea bags etc in the room one morning, the receptionist gave me more than I needed for the whole stay! Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.
