I would not stay here again. The property is fairly new but it is cheaply constructed and appointed. Beds were uncomfortable. Extremely uncomfortable. But the major problem was the noise! We could hear the subway moving beneath the hotel every 5 minutes. Anytime anyone in a room above or on our floor even move we heard them. We heard every word, every snore, every door that was closed. Worst night of sleep in a long time.

Checked in online which sped things up at reception. Room (319) was clean but bed by the window creaked and TV would randomly switch itself on/off and TV remote buttons didn’t all work. Slept ok but could hear movement in room next door.

Ideally I would give it a 3.5, but I decided to give it a 4 instead of a 3. It’s a cute quaint hotel. The rooms are comically small, but respectfully clean and comfortable. I found the rooms noisy - from the outdoors, hallways, other room doors and elevator (Nevermind construction that was happening).

Was in a basement room, and barely got any sleep. literally the room was shaking from the underground tube running late at night and again from 5am, coupled with the fire alarm sensor light that lights up the room in blue light with the lights off.

I was given an underground room. The room was fine but the Paddington tube train must run beneath it, so heavy rumble every few minutes making sleep impossible from very early in the morning

Great night’s sleep – very little noise from within or without – friendly & helpful staff, ideal location, and maintained to a high standard throughout. The free room upgrade was a delightful bonus. Best Point A in London I’ve used (although King’s Cross comes a very close second).

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the room was not suitable for two people with luggage. The layout could have been designed better—for example, there was no toilet paper holder. We had heater issues right away, though staff eventually resolved them. Noise was also a problem; we could hear phone alarms and random knocking sounds that went on for several minutes.
